6’3″ with 34″ inside leg here on a large Nerve Al 29er, fit is great with a 90mm stem(size that came on it), I think the Spectral has a longer top tube though.

Got a Poc and a Giro Feature both comfy and wouldn’t say one was hotter than the other, also got a Uvex Xp cc which is super comfy and better vented/cooler than the others.

Conti sidewalls are definitely fragile one weekend in Dumfries had a Black Chilli Mountain King TR unable to stay inflated tubeless as the sidewalls were shot then the replacement Rubber Queen BC lasted about four weeks of local riding before it was the same! The Baron on the front lasted about three months which although better is still not good, shame as they are all great treads :( Hans Dampf snakeskin back on now. MK and RQ were both protection BC and not the lightweight RS type which must be like silkwalls!

Gav from Soul Cycles here bike and owner have/will be reunited shortly:) it was actually The Edinburgh Cycle Co. who had it offered and recovered the bike we only had it on our Fb page, this does seem to work well as we’ve recovered a fair few bikes recently.

Conti and Stans both work well, Conti seemingly far more environmentally friendly if that kind of thing matters!

As someone who has been riding 29er for a good few years, IMO 26 are the ones to go for in the long travel variety, much better on the technical stuff. Agreed again big wheels suit my local stuff and trail centres but much prefer 26,s on tech steep stuff!

Polton Road and The Cast between Loanhead and Bonnyrigg are always good for hill training.

Just had a quick look and my exact steerer length is 217mm and there is about 1.5mm below the stem top, so removing spacers i would still need 202mm for current setup.

Don’t think so,reckon you would still be about 10mm short!
