As i said above the joes and stans rimstrips i have are almost identical,
both fit tightly up under the bead on my dt 5.1 ‘s, stans sealant does
seem better(less messy).Going to try the ghetto way on my brothers bike
    at weekend.

im 14.5st (92.5kg) and was also recommended the extra firm spring, sag is spot on yet with little or no compression damping i rarely use full travel unless really pushing it so probably just right!

joe’s and stans rimstrips are almost identical(have both), through use
i would say i prefer stans sealant as the joes stuff seems to dry quicker
and makes more of a mess of the inside of the tyres.

If its an air shock let out all the air and it should turn.

Do you get fewer pedal strikes with the ccdb than the monarch?

Obviously it wasn’t really the tyres , why cant mtb gods like pk ripper and gw be there to show me how to ride roots etc,(that are absolutely no problem normally)when i need them, sitting now i know i was having an off day but as i said originally in my opinion these tyres were sliding out far easier than the conti’s, kendas and specialized that my mates were riding.

high rollers def have higher drag than the NN’s(not meaning slow on the downs),having just washed my bike i have also noticed a tear in the front tyres sidewall so the maxxis are now back on.smee nobody else came off and i ride with the same guys all the time so they were all finding it quite funny watching me getting back on after the three offs!we ride down there regularly
and i have never had a prob before(first and last time on the NN’s).

lecht 2.25 on 5.1’s(on the hustler) andy put tubes back in when i fitted the
NN’s as they pissed out sealant for three days and wouldnt hold any pressure
(they are the folding evo’s rather than ust or snakeskin).

35psi and there are enough roots on the first wooded climb to have me off
more than in the last years riding.

Andy after my third down i was tempted to take them of and ride on my
inner tubes, i am not saying they are bad tyres in fact most of the time
they grip pretty well, just dont show them any slippy scottish roots!

Got the xc’s and the dh’s both are great, the extra width of the dh’s
is brilliant for handling.Where can you get them for £85?

never had a problem in nearly twenty years of riding, so unless any skill/ability i have ever had vanished over night i cant think of anything else to blame but the tyres, they just brake away at the sight of a slippy root.

As cove prices have just gone up you will be lucky to get a current
one for much less than £400, rrp is now £495.

I had the previous dualit and it dripped constantly from the steam
wand, the pressure never seemed great either returned it and bought
a gaggia classic which was definitely better, my wife then bought
me a francis francis x1(nothing to do with the way she loves how it looks)
for my birthday two years ago and its a great machine, though no doubt somebody will say otherwise.

North was open on tuesday, South was closed. First ride there(on hols)and thought it was a good trail, fair bit of snow and really windy but had a
great time(just rode the north twice).

I ride a cove hustler and an on one ti 456, had the on one since march and
the hustler has hardly turned a wheel since, both bikes have the same build
except the hustler has pikes and the on one revs, as much as i love the ti
frame there is no way that it is as fast over rocks or really rough stuff
it probably does smooth things out compared to an aluminum frame but not anything like a susser(unlike certain mag reviews leading people to believe that your going to blow your full sus mates away over everything!), technique is more important through rock gardens, off drops etc
(and perhaps big cahoonas) ti frames are not a skill compensator.

Less packing down and spiking over repeated bumps and bigger hits,
i thought my pikes were great before, after pushing they are fantastic.

I have found even oakleys clear lenses affect your night vision,
weirdly it is worse with led lights compared to either hid or
    halogen types!

I picked my 09 rp23 today and it is exactly the same,my 06 dhx air looks
like it has been anodized after machining, wouldn’t worry about it.
