the thing that got me thinking was the weight of my brothers meta 5.5,
similar build except for deus crank on his atlas on mine and he had a sdg saddle and i-beam post and the difference was pretty noticeable! anyway his meta is now broken and the hustler still going strong!!!

I have a few originals and one merlin one,differences that are obvious are
the rails oe have cn/ti rather than just ti? these seem much shinier, cover material is also different and the foam feels firmer in the oe, its still very comfy though!

Brown and White are fairly new out so would be
surprised to see them for much less than rrp!
winstanleys were about the cheapest place i could
find, cheaper one's (merlin etc) are usually oe
and as above black.

Duckman do you mean i have an agenda or the op, i personally know two people (one posts regularly on here) who have broken soul frames and other than this post i have never posted about them before!

I know two people who have broken soul frames, both loved them up till this and one still happily rides his replacement.

Added alloy bearing covers on the bearings at the back of the rocker/ top of the seatstays as well! looks great in that colour.

It aint a looker, but then its the ride is that counts!

140 van qr15,s are perfect on them, have tried 130 revs, pikes and 36 talas and i think the 140's vans are spot on!

From personal experience hope and lupine are great quality well made lights but the dx p7 torches and particularly the bike specific dx p7 (bastid)bike light make me wonder why i ever spent £600 on a bike light!!

As above used them for a couple of years now and never had any probs
fitting or removing maxxis or schwalbe tyres.

i replaced pikes with van 32r qr 15's from mojo, although not quite as stiff they are fantastic forks very plush and great(simple)damping!
in fact i like them so much i bought a pair of van 32rlc qr 15's for my other bike.

should also say good fun!

tlr took me roughly two hours.

Crash replacement is half price, or was last year!

Another + for r+r exteme, after years of using f l green the extreme
really seems to last well and does keep drive chain nice and clean!

As a ti456 owner(well chuffed still!) it would have been good to see it in the mix but it also have meant 3 brant designed lynskey built frames!

i've just switched to stans flows and upon jra's advice have bought the
flow rimstrips, i have been using rimstrips in my dt5.1's for a while and
never had any problems using ordinary maxxis tyres,i dont fancy the weight
penalty of ust tyres so for easy inflation and no burps(for me anyway!) the
rimstrips seem the way to go and they only weigh 59grms.
