Anyone know if it will work with a zee mech?

I’ve never used either of those wheels so wouldn’t know if they’re any good. I’d recommend hopes as their customer service is great, and you should be able to pick some up from the classified for around 150£

Find a nicer lbs? I told them it was second hand but they just contacted trek anyway.
But the chain stay took 1-2 months to arrive so i’d be sending it back to the person he bought it from if i was him.

I bought mine second hand and trek didn’t ask for any proof of purchase or anything..
    That was the chain stay.

I have the r501s on my commuter, and the aksiums on my road bike. The mavics are much better and I’ve never had a problem with them. I don’t really like the r501s.

My build: deore cranks, hope ring, zee rear mech, slx shifter+ cassette, KMC chain and mrp 1x chain guide.
Came to about £140 mostly new stuff from the classifieds.

I have a zee rear mech on my xc bike, it runs great. I wouldn’t bother with a zee chainset as it looks like just a deore with zee on it..
My full set up, of deore crank, slx cassette, KMC L chain, hope ring, zee mech, mrp 1x and slx shifter cost £130.

I’ve bought a couple of sets of hope hoops off the classified, none have ever needed any tinkering. Can’t say the same for my shimano hubs that have needed adjusting a couple of times..

Stick a bearing in the allen key bit, using candle wax to hold it in? Then use a lighter to get in out..

I’ve got nanos on my full sus and just got some v12s for my hard tail, definitely prefer the v12s.
The v12s only cost me £10 second hand and work great.
The superstars needed a service after just a few rides, and they just seem crap quality.

Just get them from rosebikes, it is very easy to swap the levers over- takes a few minutes and doesn’t require bleeding them.

Also don’t forget £10 voucher if you like them on Facebook.

Don’t know about hans dampf, but my 2.35 high rollers and minions fit fine, although they are quite skinny for 2.35s.

A medium should last 3 years, and anyway if you get a second hand frame, then if you have to sell it to get something bigger, you don’t lose much on it.

Get a second hand frame, hope wheels, fox forks and finishing kit. Then get a groupset from one of the german sites (i got an slx one for £180) and some shimano deore brakes off rose bikes.
Should work out at less than £900, my build with the above was around £700.

Build one! Out of second hand parts, you can get decent full sus frames off here for around £200.

Btw rollers are also very noisy, well my tacx Antares were. But much more fun that a turbo trainer.
Saleem where did you see the rollers, can’t seem to find them on BR.

fair enough.. That should be fine, although i’d go for the 10L one, as it has a nice coating that makes it stay shiny/rust free for longer.

Depends what riding you do, my lbs says your better off just going for the L as they last longer and less likely to snap. Plus thats from Taiwan so is going to take ages to come.. go and buy from your lbs!
