As above – I found mine to be lacking at high speed with repeated hits. Had them PUSHed and they're like completely different forks – slightly harsher at slow speeds, but they feel firmer throughout the stroke and the rebound works well at any speed.

Troy Lee XC or Giro Xen are very good. Xen are a little thinner

Rubber Queen ust sidewalls are very tough. Spesh Eskar Control sidewalls aren't quite so thick, but still plenty tough

Had a few pairs of the Forensics – great feel, but they all started to come away at the stretch panel on the wrist quite quickly. Makes little difference when out riding though :-)
you can normally pick em up on the web for cheapness, especailly the rasta ones for some reason

I'm running Reverse XXLs (760mm) – feel spot on, but as above, tight gaps between trees can be tricky ;-)

run your brake levers closer to the horizontal to bring your weight back and allow more bend on your elbows?

no pics I'm afraid, at least not with me – FR holes, and it's a '06 Marz Roco RC (200mmx50mm) with a PUSH tune. I guess your worried about interference between coil mounting collar and the the mount tabs? It's very tight, but you can do it. Can't comment on Fox VANs etc though

I have a coil on mine and haven't taken a saw or file to my bike. XC tabs all present and correct ;-)

+1 on changing the forks/shock instead of getting a new bike – I changed the stock RS Pearl on my Prophet MX for a PUSHed Roco and it transformed it…

This is how I set mine up:

Set the -ve to get the ride height you want (73psi+)
Set the +ve to get the sag you want
Set the PAR 30psi more than the +ve
Adjust compression and rebound to taste

    Loving mine :-)

Run one (2.25 60a) tubeless on the back of my Prophet MX all year round. Stick something more grippy up front (High Roller, Minion etc), great match.

same as drain – the bleed kit makes it easy; lever horizontal, take off the reservoir cap, screw the bleed syring into the caliper and away you go. Taking the grub screw out quickly so that you don't lose loads of fluid is the hardest bit…

Mine's a single pivot (C'dale Prophet), sorry, can't comment on the VPP question. Very nice mechs though, nicely tucked out the way and very solid – the action's a little "agricultural" (I have matching Saint shifter), but very reliable and robust

I was running 24/36 up front with a 11-32 at the back with a Saint short cage, no problem. Works very well :-)

a lot tougher than standard conti sidewalls – have an "apex sidewall" or something…a bit like the protection sidewall but more so

Got some on my Prophet MX. Awesome value as a Hope Hoop, as mentioned earlier, you can get them sub-£300 as a pair c/w yellow tape. Do it
