been running a Conti Baron on the front for a month or so – cheating amounts of grip, even in the proper filth

As above, directors loan – pay it back before the end of the financial year else you have to either declare it as salary or dividend and pay some wedge to George

As above, the Cylus headset presses don’t play nice with 1.5 headsets. I used mine in conjunction with the cup from a reducer headset to get a 1.5 cup in the frame.

chased em every day since Friday on the phone. Each time I was told it would be sorted that day and despatched.

Still not despatched. Not feeling the love for CRC anymore….

’tis fab. Getting proper flying drunk with your mates is aceness.
Though now I’m older the hangover seems to kick in a day later and be a lot worse.

I’ve had an order stuck at “Processing” for over a week. Called them yesterday to chase it up, and the guy on the phone told me that they’re really struggling with the extra Xmas and promotion volumes.

I think cardo has it – I’ve got a Sunline AM stem and it’s pretty low, 35mm sounds about right.

Senser’s “Eject” is one of my hot faves, especially for riding.
Been listening to In Utero again a lot recently, really love “Tourettes” :-)

binned the backpack for local rides a few years ago. Carry tube, tyre lever, multitool, pump in pockets. Plus phone + keys.
Use a hydration pack + maybe a buff/beanie + snacks for longer rides.

Have never had a Pitch, but I had a Prophet MX before my Blood. Blood rides better, has better angles, is stiffer, has better suspension action and is generally more of a hoot to ride. And the Prophet was good, mind. And it’s green ;-)

It’s my only bike, use for all day rides, DH, rides with the kids, enduro races, razzing round the woods, commuting.

Used to have an Spesh (Enduro Supercross) and got hacked off with having to change the (many) bushings/bearings every 6 months.

    Yes

I work in the private sector and have seen too many people get f**ked over without a whimper – it’s good to see a stand being taken.

Sorry, yes, forgot to say mine are 2011 forks. I think wl’s comment is a good one – get the latest ones you can.

Have been running a set for a few months – awesome forks. Perform better than the Van RC2s I had previously, more reliable than the Lyrik Coil RC2DH they replaced.
And you can get them in purple ;-)

I have a Blood which is very similar in concept & geo to the BR – as mentioned previously, there’s something about the geometry which makes it a hoot to ride. I use mine for everything.

One bike to rule them all ;-)

No experience with Emirates, but make sure your bike is spotless when you try and take it through Oz customs. Clean it, clean it and clean it again and change your tyres to clean/new tyres if you can.

Are you plugging into an iPod? I use a set of Adidas/Sennheiser jobs that are ace and give you track and volume controls too. Can hear plenty of external noise as well.

    1×9 here.
Used to run 34t front with 11-32 back – good offroad, but span out a little on the road.
Recently switched to 36t front and 11-34 rear which seems better all-round.

Love mine – ’11 frame here, 135mm rear hub and 73mm bb shell.

use mine for everything – best bike i’ve ever owned. You can run it with 140mm forks as per the “trail” build last year, but works best with some 160mm forks up front IMHO.
