What’s the car equivalent of “lycra lout”?

Criminal? Get their plates and report to 5-0?

I use Beconase – it’s the only thing that works for me.

I’ve heard that if you eat honey produced local to your area it may help? Nectar + bee magic = hayfever relief?

I remember when my eldest started sleeping through after 1.5 years and realising that I’d been tired all that time.

Prepares you very well for doing night laps at Mountain Mayhem ;-)

Find out where they’re coming in and put one of these next to it. http://www.diy.com/nav/garden/garden-care-watering/pest-weed-control/insect___slug_control/Ant-Stop-Bait-Station-9297686

We had a bit of an ant problem a few months back, these sorted it

If they’re newbies and from Brizzle, try taking them round the Ashton Court/Leigh Woods trails? Save you a trek and the bridge toll ;-)

Have used e13, RF and Renthal rings on my Atlas cranks with no problem – I am running 1×9 though, so no granny…

Surely the whole point of traffic lights is that it presents a uniform language or system that all understand and are expected to abide by.
    Red light = stop
    green light = go

It presents an objective control – everyone abides by the rules/language, minimal chance of things going wrong/people getting hurt.

If you RLJ in a car/bike/lorry/by foot/spaceship, you’re making a subjective judgement call and are acting without informing other road users of your intentions = you’re not following the common rules/system/language.
If no-one else is expecting what you’re going to do, accidents are more likely to happen.

TBH, given that the article states that Hincapie, Leipheimer, Vande Velde and Zabriskie “opted not to be considered for the Olympics”, it smacks very much of them copping a plea in return for testifying against Armstrong.

    Dodgy stuff

Dirt is pretty much uniformaly ace every issue – it definitely appeals to the emotional side of riding a bike, rather than the “stato” side ;-)

TBH, having seen the footage and read the context (the u-turn on fuel duty), her performance on NN and ill-preparedness speaks volumes about the Tories and Cameron and Osborne in particular.

They haven’t got a strategy and when the sh!t hits the fan, they’ll duck the fallout and send in the junior ranks to take the flak.

Did Tracy Moseley race Fort Bill? I know that was one of the few DH events she was due to race this season.

It’s been awesome seeing Hill come back to form. Sure, he may not be bothering the likes of Gwin atm, but it’s such a pleasure to watch him ride

The Athertons are doing very well, especially considering the potentially career-limiting/ending injuries that Rachel and Dan have had.

This season will be interesting for both women’s and men’s WCs – Atherton vs Ragot; Atherton vs Gwin vs Minaar, with a resurgent Sam Hill and Hart/Bryceland/Hannah pushing hard….

    Vans Gravel.

Have used 5.10 impacts (I & II), Shimano AM40s and the Gravels are the best combination of light weight, grip, feel and drying ability of them all.

    Not used Tevas through.

Of course we would – with Labour in power we wouldn’t have been afflicted with May, Lansley, Osborne, Cameron and the pick of the bunch, Gove.

Fault? Tories, natch. We wouldn’t have had this weather under a Labour government ;-)

It’s normally wet at the end of June isn’t it? Glasto, Wimbledon etc are always affected by heavy rain IIRC – granted we may have had slightly more this year….

    alpkit or timbuk2 mavericks

I’ve been using the mavericks for 2 years – bombproof and very waterproof and you can carry a lot of stuff (inc laptop).

Been running Baron front, RQ 2.2 rear for over a year through all conditions. The Baron is far grippier than the RQ up front, esp. in muddy conditions, and the paddle tread of the RQ is perfect as a rear.

I’ve found the Baron to corner similarly to a Minion, only better – you can rail it and it will hold a line in most conditions, whereas the RQ up front can wash out due to the lower profile tread and smaller side lugs.

Simple – as is usual, upon retirement George & Mervyn will one day become directors of the banks that this money will be going to. They need to make sure the banks have enough money to cover their salary and bonuses, so are taking pre-emptive measures to ensure this is the case.

Sound planning in my book ;-)

Tories reverting back to type IMO. Passing legislation to enable them to chuck huge, valuable contracts at their mates to (not) deliver.
