never raced CX, but have found gym work to be beneficial:

Squats
Bent over rows (barbell)
Core work

less fatigue, better sprinting, hurts less when you crash…

My kids’ farts are a thing of wonder :-)

What about people who fart on planes?
Or those that recline their seat all the way back as soon as the plane takes off?
Or larger people who need more seat space than others?
Or people who take a massive suitcase on as carry-on luggage as well as a handbag, coat, carrier bags full of duty-free, etc etc?
People who miss their boarding call and delay the plane?
People up and down to use the loo all the time?

Flying is tricky, we’re all sharing a confined space for a protracted period of time, plenty to get narked about if you let it.

I’ve used a Gamut P30 and an e13 LG1+ on my Blood, both very good and I’ve had no problems with either.

I must be lucky! I’ve had:
2 x RQ 2.2 non-BC UST
2 x RQ 2.2 BC folders
1 x RQ 2.4 BC wire bead
1 x RQ 2.4 BC folder

and they’ve all been fine, as are the 2 Barons I have.

Cracked my Blood frame in front and rear triangles after 15 months use. Orange weren’t keen to warranty initially (despite being within warranty period), but lbs had a hard word with them and they changed their mind.
Does make me think twice about buying Orange again – I’ve had Konas, Cannondales, Speshes and all had better warranties and crucially, I never had cause to make a warranty claim.

135 x 12 – this will fit an Alpine with a Maxle.
As for running a 135 x 9 QR axle, you’ll need to buy a hub that can switch between the two (Hope Pro 2 etc) and buy the relevant adaptors.

Rode yesterday, rode into work today. Shoes still wet from yesterday….

Ride home in your work underwear rather than the wet stuff you rode into work with
Laptops are very good for drying cycling clothes as they chuck out a lot of heat ;-)
Just suck it up, riding in through autumn/winter/rain/shine makes you strong like bull ;-)

I don’t think you can wrong with eitehr the Nanos or the Saints tbh. Nanos come in pretty colours and are a bit cheaper? I’ve had two sets of Nanos – 1st pair lasted 3 years without missing a beat.

I think just an ISCG-old backplate will do the trick, shouldn’t need anything else IMO

9sp Saint here (shifter + short cage mech running 1×9) – tough as f*ck, reliable shifting. Recommended

I have a Feature – replaced a Fox Flux. I like a lot, more secure and reminds me of my old Giro Semi MX which I loved.

I had a Stinky Dee-Lux, 2001 vintage – awesome bike, loved it :-)

Didn’t love the (lack of) warranty back up from Paligap (Kona UK as was). Snapped a suspension bolt which then bent the rocker arms and they refused to warranty.

Replaced the rockers myself and I think the bike itself is still going strong under some young grom in the FoD :-)

IME it’s the Baron up front with a RQ 2.2 rear FTW – proper fit and forget, all conditions combo.
