best carbon bar I’ve used is Answer Pro Tapers superb and great at taking the buzz out of the trails, I suffer sore hands aswell and these are superb even after an all day ride

the bars are awesome I have both the alloy and the carbon and they are mega superb at taking the buzz out of the trail and mega comfortable with great rise and backsweep well worth the £100 no regrets at all and they look awesome!

Frame, unfortunately not got an endless supply to a money tree! I have some parts already, am wheels and forks will probably run 2 x 10 with magura brakes answer dj stem and a set of answer protaper carbon bars that I have. Will maybe try running tubeless? Also the ubiquitous dropper post with a ti railed sdg saddle.

Doing the same as you did the research, +1 for the Staton Slackline, guys there very helpful re sizing and spec set up for the type of riding you do.

alfabus cool colour mate was figuring around that sort of weight just could lose a couple of pounds bodyweight I suppose!!

To be honest would be happy to get either bikes at around 30lbs but is i just me or does the covert look to have cleaner lines, would like some more feedback as to how each rides, by the way more pics would be nice.

Cheers for that guys looks like I had it wromg way round the only reason I was thinking of weight was that I HATE climbing so the less weight (within reason) the easier it maight be for me.

Just to clarify the situation I was taken into hospital with recurring Kidney tumour illness and due to complications with treatment was kept longer than intended thus the delay in getting things off to buyers so can only offer sincere apologies but unfortunately out of my control.
