ETNZ sailed beautifully today. The first upwind starboard tacks were crucial in both races

Must see this film. I really enjoyed the book as it’s so well researched and is such an important subject. Thanks for the heads up

The ferry costs a fortune for foot passengers and I don’t think you can take a campervan even if you could afford it. Camping would be a good option. The ferry is wonderful as said above. We saw basking sharks and sunfish when we went several years ago.

Had our flat roofed house re-done with a modern felt system 2 years ago near Portsmouth and it’s been great. I would avoid fibreglass. Can provide the roofers details if that would help

Bath? It’s easy for both Southampton and Cardiff on the train and there are lots of good restaurants, cafes and pubs near the station

I’ve been using Qobuz Studio for a couple of years and am very pleased with it. Sound quality is excellent via a Wiim Pro streamer and a Chord dac

My copy arrived yesterday. Fabulous photo on the cover. Enjoyed the article about the young lass riding downhills/enduros. Looking forward to reading the rest. Still a quality product.

It’s a warning light that comes on for all sorts of things on my 5 series including telling me that the rear seats have been folded down! A message comes up to provide more information. An engine management light on the right hand side of the instrument cluster warns about engine related issues

I’ve got one of the current MT500 jackets and actually really like the hood as it’s easy to put over my helmet and is great at keeping my head warm. I also like the XL fit but am not so happy that the jacket wets through in only moderate rain.  Like others above I would only buy one again if it was cheap

I’m using a Wiim Pro to stream music and have it connected to a Chord Qutest dac. Works flawlessly . The Wiim Pro Plus has a better internal dac and is what I would use in your circumstances

They were a superb live act. Saw them in 86 I think at St Austell Coliseum. The place went wild

The Sram Level rear brake on my Giant Anthem has locked up twice at 2 year intervals. On both occasions I’ve changed the brake fluid and it’s solved the problem. The front brake has been fine. Other than that the brakes have been excellent

I’ve just bought a 10 – 50t gx cassette from Hopkinson Cycles for the price above and it arrived quickly. Good service.

Had a similar problem with a SRAM Level rear brake which was locking on after a hot car journey. Turned out the brake fluid was contaminated and a dark colour. No probs since changing it.

Thanks both. Left the bike in the car planning to ride on Sunday. Didn’t go and only noticed when I unloaded the car yesterday evening. Doh! Wheel is from a Giant Anthem and has orange flashes on it and a Maxxis Ikon tyre
