If I wear vented trousers I get to feel the wind in my hair.

That’s a strong look! Would a helmet not be more practical?

I had a squadron of flies buzzing me last week. A dose of Skin So Soft (on me) seemed to discourage them 😁

Do not let your Mother-in-Law drive you to the hospital. Mine did and seemed to deliberately hit every sleeping policeman full on at the passenger side. That was a painful trip 😢

A note’s gone around at work after a colleague was ‘nearly’ hurt by a cyclist using one of the paths going ‘at speed’

Odds on it was an ‘electric bike’ 😂

I had the dusty blob issue recently and I ended up polishing the whole car again (black car so blobbing was awful). When waxing it’s a good plan to check your polishing cloths for metal cuttings. If you don’t there’s a high probability that you’ll put deep scratches into your bonnet – deep enough to require a respray 🙄

Having used various algecides in the past with mixed success, I’ve just done ours with a 10% bleach solution. £3.50 for 5 litres of bleach – much success.

I use the cheapest voltX glasses as the lenses are smaller.

I tried their more expensive models (with deeper lenses) but found that the ‘reading’ bit was too low.

    Simple Man by Klaus Nomi

    Sheik Yerbouti by Frank Zappa

    (The latter probably NSFW)

Is the bike a Giant? If yes, then any remediation will need to be done by an approved repairer.

From The Equestrian Statue by the Bonzos:

    “Once a month, on a Friday, there’s a man

With a mop and bucket in his hand

To him it’s just another working day

As he whistles while he rubs and scrubs away”

That’s no longer the case in these times of council budget cuts 🙂

Araldite won’t work. Failing the above, get a set of LH drill bits and extractors. Thus – http://Keyohome 10PCS Screw Extractor and Left Hand Cobalt Drill Bit Set, Damaged Screw Remover Drill Extractor Combination Set https://amzn.eu/d/2YYkbCq

Is there any chance that the upper level Green Trail will be reopened? While devoid of any TTFs it flowed very well and was a great stress free ride.

I have a 2020 (Mk. 5) Seat Leon ST Sport 1.5 TSi petrol – a good car ruined by a bloody awful touchscreen interface. I got this to replace a 2017 model without bothering to test drive. The older model with switches and buttons was so much better. Next new car I get will be after extensive test drives and research (although I suspect the touchscreen disease will be more ubiquitous unfortunately).
