MOT rules are changing in May 2018 so that HID bulbs fitted to headlamps desgned for halogen bulbs will be a fail. I’m glad I only spent £35 on the HID kit fitted to my car. I’ll be fitting Nightbreaker Laser bulbs this weekend.

I actually saw one (an Argyll, that is) in Bob Henderson’s workshop in Lochgilphead. I was there while he tried to set up a Minnow Fish carburettor on my modified Morris Minor!

I moved my Colchester Student by bolting it to a trolley with 4 swiveling castors. While it was most definitely top heavy it was very manoeuverable with care and sufficient bodies.

Whaley Bridge has got a bike shop. Don’t know if it has any vacancies though!
My son and partner live in Whaley Bridge and it seems a nice place.
