As long as gears were still working the trails got better and better (in my opinion), especially the off-camber section which you could carry some speed on towards the end.

Great event, only took several hours to clean my eyes.

Adidas squash shoes are the best for longevity and among the most normal looking. I’d recommend the stabil range.

Prince shoes won’t last very long at all especially if you have any foot drag of note. However they did feel more pliable to me.

Get a chris king rear hub and your problem will go away. I've never had this problem.

Sorry to reignite an old post. Anyone know where I can buy a new bulb for the edison 5? And any special instructions to get the old one out? What size is that tiny grub screw and do i need to undo it to get at the bulb?

Organisers deserve a pat on the back for this series. They only thing that they’ve been lucky with is the weather! You can see that they’ve put a lot into it and each event has a really good atmosphere.

Going to have to dust my singlespeed down and give it a try round there. Think it would be good as it’s all up and down. Now have to make a decision about SSUK……..
