Depends on how you get there / where you stay / what you consume etc etc.

This year we opted to drive the straightest route (Payage) return fuel to Wales – £240
    Chunnel – £120 return
    Payage – £70

We took our tent and camped £90 for the week
We cooked our own grub mostly and ate out a couple of times £150 for two for the week
Lift pass – £150 for two

All told about £500 each for a mega week of fun
You could fly cheaper and combine with a Chalet / All inclusive but I reckon it would be about the same costings

I ride 3-4 times a week mix of day and evening in the above mentioned areas, I often ride out from East Cardiff too; if not there’s always room for a couple more bikes on the trailer.

Hi Dan, I’ll check out the push up from the Taff trail.
To be honest I know some amazing loops in the area right out to Rudry / Machen etc but its really about ticking off Craig Yr Allt for me.

    Brill vid.
Just ventured out last week for my first proper mtb ride with my 5 year old.
He took to it instantly, although I must admit to being scared he was going to forget to brake before a switchback!

Just back from PDS which we rode on the Friday from Chatel, decided to have an easy warm up day on the Thursday but the only lifts open were Morzine so drove over.
Had a great day in Morzine and Les Gets but on way back to Morzine from Les Gets last run, mate had an over the bars onto gravel incident when he spotted a 3′ drop too late on exiting the woods slo mo style.
I arrived to find (what I thought was him stretching) and duly waved on a passing car with the phrase Il est dacord, Il fait du Yoga  only to realise he had winded himself and couldn’t speak.
Needless to say I thought we would have to go to the Hospital with suspected ribs and wrist injury and the PDS would be off.
He did cope with it – painkillers and MTFU attitude but it did show me how easy it is to get injured in the Alps especially on that ‘last run’

I think it depends on the Company and the industry.
I work in the Fashion Industry and whenever someone turned up for interview in a suit they would not be offered the vacancy based on the fact that they would not fit in with company culture (unless it was for a job in finance / credit control :D

We have a 5m Soulpad with option to fit a stove for winter jaunts.
Combined with Karma canvas awning it really is quite special – super heavy mind..

Coming with me for PDS next week for a touch of luxury on the campsite plus I can fit my bike in next to me for cuddles

Been on a combo of flats and SPDs on different bikes for the last few months.
It did take a while to get used to the foot position with flats but I was loosing grip due to poor technique.
Found the ideal position is much further forward with flats compared to spds.
Tbh find it weird riding in spds now so might go fully flat on all bikes
