I adjust the sag depending on the riding im doing, I ride a Regin X0 so set it at 30% – 35% for freeriding and messing around and firmer 25% for xc antics / trial centres and keep the reservoir at 150psi and the pro pedal dialled in 7 clicks from closed

Essouraria in Morocco – beautiful and very rock n roll – Hendrix used to have a house here – great surf and lots to see and do. Trips up the Atlas mountains – stay in Marrakesh for a couple of days, even easyjet have started flying there – little piece of culture three hours flight away…

Its all about the food dude, take it from me, I am 15 stone 6 foot and find it difficult to shed the fat until I maintain a healthy diet combined with the exercise (currently riding four times a week). I am also partial to the odd drink so cutting that makes a difference as well.
Cut out the fatty foods for a month (nothing fried), reduce the red meat intake, no snacks between meals, less dairy -all pretty basic stuff but makes a hell of a difference – I should stick to my own advice a bit more having said that – right im off to chew on some carrot sticks………

Cwmcarn was superb over xmas really cold but trails were hard packed and rode fast.
All you xc jeyboys timing yourselves on the Twrch is all well and good but the real beauty is to have a good play in the freeride area once you reach the top and bulk up on snacks for the second half of the trail. The descents are fantastic taken at full pelt and you have the option of going back down the top part of the DH run and joining the Twrch further down for the fantastic last section. I rate Cwmcarn prefer it to Afan / Glyncorwg it just needs more uplift options or a cable car and we’d be set

Use spare tube and carry mini pump and c02 inflator for back up

When we visited we didnt encounter another soul just the red kites and the occasional sound of the RAF on training hugging the landscape. We combined it with a trip to Machynlleth for Climach x action – well recommended and a nice contrast to Nant Y Arian less techinical riding..

I’ve been running a fox 36 float rc2 for the last year – amazing performance just eats everything on the trail and nice to be able to tweak the low and high compression damping
Just about to have it serviced for the first time not through anything going wrong mind, just to keep it working at its fullest potential – they look the dogs as well.

Any ideas on how to free up a stuck propedal dial on a Fox dhx air shock 4.0? It will turn one click clockwise and back again but cant get any more movement than that ; Maybe its time for full service?

I have an Audi A4 avant 1.8T 190ps good for bikes and gear, bad for fuel consumption – get the 2.0 tdi loose some power but get the fuel economy – wish i had the diesel.
Next upgrade to A6 as the family has grown
