It’s the same as the obsession of keeping the south downs chalk grass land. I’m sure before ‘we got our hands on it, it would have mainly been woodland!
I find it ironic that if you want to see a landscape in the south that’s as nature intended, the best example is the new forest and that was planted!!!
If you can get them on stilsons will do the job. If not the smaller socket should work, you can get sockets designed to grip the flat rather than the corners. If you have time on your hands chemical metal the right size socket on to the rounded stud/nut.
My 1st pair of high impacts have lasted at least 2 yrs, could be getting on for 3. I ride for about 6hrs a week all offroad all year round. Apart from them weighing as much as pluto when there wet I think there the nadgers tadgers!
I do know what I’m on about. cutting em up, cutting em down. Harvest em, forwarding em. Climbing em, planting em. Logging em, planking em. It’s what I do. I got wood!!! :P
Oh yea, thou i don’t recomend it, your chain can be as slack as a slack thing. If bar and chain are tickety boo it’ll cut straight! but it may jump off from time to time!!
It takes a long time to master sharpening a chain evenly. Yes uneven bar rails will make your saw cut to one side or the other, but if your a relative novice saw opperator its the fact that your sharpening one side more. Or your getting your angles wrong on each side of the chain
Keep perservering, it will come in time. Or take it to your local saw supplyers and they will stick it on a jig and make it like new, the chain that is!
If the pool room’s 12 o’clock and the tree’ 6 o’clock. Pull the tree from 8/9 o’clock while felling the tree towards about 10 o’clock! All times aprox!! Not the best piccy’s to really get the full gist!!! But I does do’s tree’s as a pro like!!!!
I’ve had a bottle of white. I’ve had a bottle of rose. I’m in to a bottle of red. I did have to have a double vodka for breaky, t’was a good Xmas eve!!! :?:
