There’s not much left of the Dirt Devils. But what is left usually night rides on a Wed evening from Holmbury. For Sunday rides you need to check their facebook page.

TuckerUK, thanks for recognising Mr Chatterton! He and his son are very envolved in The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, where ‘Just Jane’ is kept and flown, at East Kirkby, Lincolnshire.

If your interested in this subject, i recommend reading the book I mentioned before. I’m not the biggest fan of the author, but a fantastic insight of the life of one particular ordinary/fantastic man of that era!!!

This may sound a tad odd. I know a man named John Chatterton. He definatley flew the Lanc, as did/does his son Michael. There’s a Biography of his life called Ploughshare & Shining Sword. It’s quite a good read. The odd bit is I can’t remember if i’m actually related to him or wether he’s just a very old family friend. :?:

I don’t need to see the photo’s I’ve ridden that area every wed evening for the past 7 yrs.
While your getting upset about things not being up to IMBA standard, I’ve been shredding great trails!

His trails get no more shitty in the winter than the older more natural trails. if some one provided him with a real of drainage pipe, he’d prob include it in to his digging. these things cost money thou. If you hit the berms the post above was complaining about above with enough speed, there’s no need to get wet anyway!!!

I no not this painted fellow, nor did i attend this mega malarkey. I do see that the race was a bit insensitive in a sensitive area. It’s been and gone now, till next year! I don’t think it created any more of a potential accident than the strava phenomenom, thou it was far more brazen! But i definatly agree that the trails this Dave guy has created around the Surrey Hills area over the last couple of years are flippin ace. The official trails are in an entirly diferent, lower leage! So at the end of the day Tattoo Dave I salute you, and if you want to race you mates down leith, just do it!!!

Glyphosate would cause no ill effects to the other plants in your garden, unless you spray it on them as well. Salt will! I recon your origional plan is pretty much spot on!!

You need a friendly farmer to buy some glyphosate from. The stuff jo public can buy is watered down shite! Glyphosate is what you need, it does’t need to be round up, most of it still comes from Monsanto anyway.
