yep, had a large. Its spot on (pun)

    I have had both.

I LOVED the Orange 5 but the 18" was just too short for me in the end and so I was runningit with a layback post and a long stem. as I prefer to climb seated I found that, even with higher pressures in the shock, the back end was diving and the front end lifting.

Teh 5 spot on the other hand just felt like a better sizing for me (6'2" btw). It handled better on climbs and you could feel that it was tracking better on the rear.

I loved the looks of the 5, the simplicity and the fact it was UK (ish). In an ideal world Orange would make a 19" 5! However, for me the 5 spot comes up the winner.

Love my toys just like Mr P!

Best bet is Flexifoil for a buggy. Easiest to get hold of and to get spares for to be honest. Get one with a back support board. My one is first geeneration and so just had the seat. 30 mins of using that and your stomach muscles know about it!

I steer clear of Flexifoil 4 line power kites as I always found that they are more prone to loosing air in their tips and causing them to turn in on themselves.

I use a Predator 3.8m. Its not as big as some kites but is extremely stable and predicatable. Although I am not exactly a small chap (weight wise!) its fine for me in anything over a steady Force 2/3 and got me up to 35mph at Blackrock sands a while back (which when you are all of 3″ above the ground feels fast enough!).

You are more than welcome to borrow it if you like though. Off at the PDS from tomorrow but I can put it out and you can pick it up from mine as Rach will be home looking after the brats whilst I am away!

Drop me a line if you like.

run Conti Pros in the Peak and have put 2.5″ Minions on F&R.

Run XM819s with no problems (although should run wider rims I am sure!)

I used to think that I would have no issue with it. However, that was back when all you could get was some half OK red-seal or bog standard weed. It took real effort and dedication to get stoned!

I remember when skunk first really came to the fore in the UK (1993/4) and it was a totally different experience. Now skunk is bred specifically to knock the bee-jeezus out of you.

I personally believe that there is a link between the chemicals in cannabis and psychosis and smoking skunk weed is more likely to tip you over the edge than normal weed on a like for like basis.

My attitudes have changed now and I couldnt turn a blind eye to or advicate by proxy my kids smoking it.

its just the air from the pump.

when you plug the pump back in the reduction in pressure is attributable to the pump. Dont woory!

    I AM!!!!!!

Tip 1: Get there an hour before the official start to get good position
Tip 2: Go tubeless or go home! 6 off us last year clocked up over 140 hours riding in 3.5 days last year and no one had a puncture.
Tip 3: take loads of brake pads
Tip 4: Stick the widest and highest volume tyres you can get on your wheels!
Tip 5: Enjoy every minute of it!

I am so excited its daft!

with difficulty and a lot of planning!

get one 2-3 hour weekender in and either a night ride (2 hours) or go out after 7pm when the kids are down.

good lights are essential in the winter if you want to ride at all!

Agree about Turners fitting like gloves!

I think that my large 5 spot was the fist bike that really fitted me properly.

Had always tried to squeeze into 18″ bikes as 20″ ones just looked to fugly!

Upgraded to a 2008 RFX for the Alps but will get a Horst 5 spot and Pikes to swop the kit over to in July.
