Like the float in the CB's. Always been a bit of a pussy when it came to clipping in but understands the benefits. The CB's give me confidence as I feel I can disengage much easier.

yes, could well be as long as crank arms in very good nick. email in profile.

according to Cy, the BB shell etc fits but the actual mechanism wont as it wont clear the chainstay.

Apparantly they were going to change the BDe design so it would fit but this would have added an extra 1/2lb to the weight of the frame.

Bother!

ordered mine today!

put my geared inbred drop out slightly out but that was after way overloading and doing 3 days of very hard riding including significant technical downs on it. luckily steel is easily reset!

love both but really the DW link is far and away about it in terms of ride.

in the UK it wont make that much difference but on longer european decents the dw link is far better.

have night ridden Snowdon twice now – highly recommended!

use ebay as a pomotional tool and try not to let the auctions run their course.
depending on the item and its value, you will find a lot of folk want to trade off ebay and do a private sale. Go down that route if you can and you will save £loads.

to get to all the out of bounds stuff in the Peak you have to use footpaths.

To be honest when you get into the stuff out you will only find like minded people (on two legs or on bikes)

love and really rate them in the UK, fell waaaaaaaaaaay short of the mark in the Alps.
