I’ll give Wildcat another thumbs up, I have some Alpkit bags too but find them to be a bit more basic in construction. Drop Beth a line and get some bags!
I have a Tranzx with ‘stealth’ style routing. Seems fairly well built and I have it hooked up to a gutted XT shifter. Specialized are using them on some of their 2016 bikes too.
I’m not sure how it’ll be after 4months of Winter but for the price I don’t really care!
I’d actually suggest a Banshee Phantom if you’re already considering 29”. On-One is nice for the cash but the Cnae Creek has no lock-out, that’s a no for me on a bike that’s single pivot (linkage driven blah blah blah).
Mine creaked badly from new, all torqued properly with appropriate grease too. I was pretty hacked off to discover this was a known issue with the duo.
I’d stick with an X4, can’t go wrong with a Thomson! 🙂
