I was about to get one and found out its faulty and signal reception errors.
Why would anyone buy a faulty phone is crazy and has more money than sense!

Do you live in America? Do you have AT&T as your network? No? Then you're a half-wit who believes a load of media generated garbage and FUD, designed to lower Apple's share prices so that hedge-fund parasites can reap large profits when the share price goes up. There are no call dropping issues in the UK because the iPhone is shared across multiple networks. In the States there is one network that struggles in large cities like SF, LA, NY, Chicago, because of the heavy data usage by iPhone users. My iPhone 4 happily streams 6Music on Tuneit Radio even when there are no bars showing, so a phone call has no issues, unless, of course you're somewhere where there's no signal at all…

Well I went into a Apple store where the demo phone dropped signal till the guy put a bumper on and I have never had a signal drop on the same UK network but at least his own personal 3GS was working alright.

I like Apple and own a Macbook and a new Mac Pro and have spent ££££s but I still won't buy ANY phone that has reception issues from NEW where other phones work fine. I'll wait till the 5G comes out.

I've never had to a buy case for any of my phones so why should I use a bumper? you guys enjoy your faulty phone.

Just remember the positive memories and that it is part of life and yes it sucks and lonely but they would want you to be happy.

Sorry but I need a phone to make calls on business, family, people abroad, Skype, internet and aGPS and some of the useful functions do help but if the signal kept dropping out on my current moby I would either get it fixed on warranty or forced to buy a new mobile.

I would gladly buy an Apple iphone4G if it did not have signal issues and I don't care how cool it looks or its an iphone…I want a phone that works-Apple please fix the production phones!

If HTC Desire has bad reception -it wouldn't sell or would it?

@mastiles_fanylion glad you got back up! what a horrible woman!

@OP I think she was opening the door to the relationship by saying you can sleep back in the bed.

I'd be be angry as hell and throw her out no questions asked etc and I would not be sleeping on the couch of her mate if I hadn't done anything wrong but you did-your relationship sucked and she went out of it to find the romance elsewhere when she could have divorced so you are all wrong but no excuse to cheat but people do.

What do you want? do you want her back? do you want an open relationship?
For the kids? (no way its probably worse).

If you want her back-sleep in the same bed tonight and talk-its a start.
Or sleep in your other bed if its over and talk.

MD will not want to know as they have more important things to do but will question your line manager when he gets back.

Just email your line manager only but its a bit late for that now.

If you were waiting for some work from your MD as your line manager left you then you should have asked the MD is x had arrived.

MD will think you and line manager are morons.
Your line manager will start make your life hell.

Most of us here think you just made your line manager look bad. While the MD will be intrigued he will also think you are as bad as the line manager.

    Could be so many things!

My PC slowed down as the hard drive was on its way out.
If the virus killer didn't find anything, can you copy your files to external drive or usb and reinstall the Op.System?
If so make sure you have all the drivers to get online too.
You might not need to do this!

1st Go into task manager and see whats using the cpu?

They would have ping'd your line and if no reply there could be a break somewhere which is odd if the last owners had it working fine.
As a student they wanted to charge me too and I lived on the top floor 3 story building $$$ but I found the line break and plugged up the wires to a new cable and box from Argos freezing cold Xmas eve on a ladder Brrr!

Try a multi meter to test for circuits between 2 wires of the same colour and ring BT who retest the line and bingo no installation bill :P
you might be able to do the same and save cash for furniture or moving in party.

I wouldn't kick off a fuss as a store manager about grapes but I still wouldn't eat any until I had paid and was home etc as it can classed as stealing by a store.

When I was a teen my Mother buying some pick and mix sweets stacked as a pyramid with sweets rolling down as you pick some for your bag.

Some sweets rolled down and fell in her 80's large coat pocket but luckily it caught my eye and she picked out 2 in her pocket and put them in her bag and paid for with the food shop etc.

Accidents can happen but I bet if she was ever stopped and searched and I didn't see the sweets fall, she would easily be arrested as the general idea is everyone is a criminal when you walk into a shop according to some shops…

Another time while paying for my comic book I saw a classmate trying to pull off a pc disk off a magazine. Me and the shop keeper just watched him while I said "I'm not with him!" luckily the shop keeper knew me as they held my subscription and the classmate gave up -was it worth a shoddy pc disk? he didn't even own a pc!

So I understand shops getting suspicious but the majority of us are innocent and treating us like dirt will only cause us to shop elsewhere.

Tight Jersey label states: Wear with six pack

I thought it was against the norm to wear a team jersey till the team is no more (nice jersey colours though) but then again I though you didn't attack race leaders in yellow when they have a mechanical… 8)

All the helmets I've had have reduced my injury (they won't stop a lorry sure) but for small bangs that would create havoc have resulted in a bump max. Helmets can reduce injury and I have smashed 4 helemts with 2 cracks and 2 smashed to bits from head trauma. One old helmet in the 90s stuck out more than my nose when I headbutted the ground, my head bounced back up. Try head butting tarmac with a helmet and say helmets don't do a thing.

Same arguement with people who don't wear seatbelts while driving.

If you don't have any spongyness' and the lever bites easily and doesn't go all the way to the bars then clean your discs and roughen your pads with light sand paper so they are not shiny.

One time I though my XTR was rubbish and then found the LX biting so much better. Quick swap of pads and found my resin XTR pads were the culprit.
Calipers-well not much to it so if they have been serviced and cleaned they should be like new.

£300 vs. 1hr on an afternoon tinkering and getting the brakes spot on.

See if any local rider to you has the same/similar setup to compare.

Raleigh nosed dived but are back (like GT but somebody else owns them?)
They import and sell loads of bike accessories and cheap mudguards.

They have some nice road carbon jobbies but not exactly are bargains compared to Boardman. I would buy a Raleigh if it was the right price but for £2000? hmmm maybe not.

Feel for you Binners as I have seen with it with other companies and Euro owners shutting it down moving it abroad but low pound and interest rates might help.

Maybe the Brit owners shouldn't sell? But call me Dave is getting the investors to put money in and not sell as we need the money from India and China who are moaning about their people investing into the U.K. no doubt!

Were Saints beefed up LX/XT? if they were the two part mould then an upgrade to new XT with big discs might be the trick.

I have to admit only using shimano and had one sticking caliper but I could get the parts and pads almost anywhere and 2 yr warranty. Always envied Avid pad adjusters but once you have setup Shimano-never had to again unless its sticky in my case.

Assuming the shop did a good service on your old brakes as I have taken 07 LX brakes to bits, new parts and sold to mate who rides AM with 203mm up front no probs and with metal pads they stop him easily.

Best to try a riding pal's brakes on their bike and compare?
(Saints in 95% working condition should have been fine but why waste more money on them with pads and discs)

Handwash mode, use soap flakes and read the label e.g. 30C no more and don't tumble dry.

Ask the dry cleaner but the price is probably close to the rrp of new bag.
Mine is falling to bits inside, but its been washed a few times over 3 yrs.

Stick a bounce' sheet in it?

is the intel guy Indian or American?

According to Wiki…(cough pinch of salt) he was born and degree eduacated in India, did his Masters in New York and worked for Intel developing USB, AGP and Pci express.

Probably an American Citizen if he still works for Intel???

But the Brits still have some of the best Engineers and scientists right? as long as they don't work for BP…
Wouldn't mind an Indian takeaway tonight but need to be in work early and gives me the…best colonic ever?!

What are you riding? eg xc DH or AM? eg XT singles or DH twin pot.

How big are you? 8O If you are 6ft 5 and 200kg then we can guess what size disc you might need too.

Been using XTR (overkill as XT is fine) for XC 160mm and SLX 180mm AM for 6ft2 80kg visits to Wales.
SLX's might just be the std replacement but if you want more bite use a 180mm on the front (fork depending) and back -frame space/material spec.

    Budget?

Try the Park tools website for repair diagrams too.

Not sure if it will go back to old classib cotterless crankset etc

    http://www.parktool.com/repair/

Also look for old bike manuals to download via Google like Barnetts repair guide etc.

The Lidl case is interesting but they did man-handle the toddler and he was innocent. But I couldn't convince the Gramps to sue as its not in his nature and an apology would be more than enough (he doesn't need the money nor would he take it).

Frame should be ok but using road parts off road is likely to break or increased wear.

You could always beef the parts up and upgrade the fork.

Bonti race x lite wheels for the road are also used by CX racers too.

I think I paid something like a fiver from Wickes to cut my steerer down and file it straight and true.

Did the job but take your time when doing it and use eyewear as the blade can snap/shoot off!
