I was about to Kuco until I read your post!

CX with a 20mm inner rim fit 28mm or 38mm!

I swore at my Dad when he caught the inner tube with brute force.

I could have done that but I’m being careful not to catch the tube…

His face as I pumped air into the tube lol

    Pump hiss pump hiss…

Showed him how it’s done and he got the wheel spot on. Not bad for a 70 year old!

See your GP and blood tests.

Had the same and under active thyroid diagnosed. Having more tests before deciding whether I take thyroxine substitute.

    Trying exercise/ride harder and iodine.

    Update:

Hi, I managed to get the tyre on!

I used some lube (fairy liquid) and used a new pulling lever that was mentioned above.

Then I mounted the same tyre on my Dad’s bike using my fingers.

I tried some Conti’s and ran into the same issue.

So it turned out my new rims are a basket to fit some tyres.

Thanks for tips, although I’ve already been using them and was a good reminder.

    Clamps!

I fitted some tyres with just finger pushing before these tight things came along!

sarawak I love your thinking! I have a pair somewhere!

Weak? I dragged my old man in a tug of war with these tyres and that didn’t work either! And Dad on the floor nearly.

    Will research some videos too!

    Thanks for the advice everyone!

    30-31 and cruise control.

Guilty of 33 when late although that’s probably really 31 real speed.

Had a police on my tail for driving at 30 mph only for them to pass me in dual lanes with 30 mph?!

I did 40mph downhill on my road bike…

    Hi,

I just don’t like the look of my TRP Spyres hy/rd with large holes and movement.

I’m only adding a small dab and some spare bolts have them on already.

I used a card business card on either side of the disc slid into the calliper, then pulled on the brake lever then turned up the bolts.

Normally I just brake, nip it up and then release the lever, spin wheel, then brake a again while using a torque wrench without moving the calliper.

Sometimes the torque on the bolts can move the callipers.

Having a pal hold the brake lever or rope, freeing a hand to hold the calliper too while you nip up the bolts.

Callipers with massive holes for the screws allows too much movement.

Sometimes it’s a few seconds to sort and sometimes a bloody hour.

Bought too many Apple accessories and apps.

Easy to use and not worrying about security compared to Android but then is any OS secure?

Apple customer service, recalls, updates and worldwide warranty is brilliant.

Replaced my iPhone and iPad no quibbles. When I was in Sydney, they replaced my overheating iPhone with a newer model 2 weeks before it was out of warranty. Customer for life.

New phone prices are silly. Still have my X and not upgrading yet.

Pot? Oh potty. I’m not telling you to vote for what I voted for.

No need to talk about politics, just vote whoever suits you.

    No insurance? Unlucky.

Yeah car hire ropes you in buying insurance you don’t need but then that just covers excess.

Looks like a knock and not even primer left.

    Would you hire it?

Well at least you didn’t vote for a racist party.

It was just one X in one square right?

Just wanted to make sure I didn’t screw up my vote.

Nothing wrong with hot older lady.

Linda Hamilton was hot in T1 and T2.

Ok she’s a bit mental but that’s ok as she can act normal and tough for a leading lady.

    My cutoff is 55 though.

I also brought the wrong polling card but they found my details luckily.

I told them I got hammered at a birthday party and they laughed their heads off. Told me to keep the card for next months elections in Peterborough as our MP was pushed out for speeding/lying.

Then this roadie cyclist lady came in to vote but I was in my jeans damn it and she was pushing 50. Still fit. Nice Giant road bike.

Nice church and plenty of parking. Felt bad about the tomb stones though. The fresh fragrance of mowed grass was nice. Going to bed and riding in the morning.

    Get out and ride!

Just ordered a set of 15/20mm lock rings and a deeper larger cassette tool that has a 1/2 drive, also fits my torque wrench after using a socket over my older unit. ‘Should’ clear the axel ends compared to my old cassette tool.

    Thanks guys.

I’ll order the large ones as a spare just in case… and check my lock ring tool.

I have an old HT2 BB spanner but rather use my torque wrench. Might try the X-tools one now.

    Cheers.

Their Charge Plug 4 Tange Prestige fork and frames rode fantastically with that steel spring.

They switched to shoddy aluminium and super expensive Ti= death.

Rebuilding my Dad’s Plug on the weekend.

New carbon fork, saddle, road wheels and mainly a road set up with 28mm tyres now he has another bike for CX/adventure.
