Deer’s Leap is changing all the time and there are some great plans for it!

Anker – I’ve had two of their products develop intermittent annoying faults over the last 3 months on both occasions emailed them to find out if there was a solution, on both occasions they sent out a brand new replacement on next day delivery and told me to keep the originals – which are both still going strong.

Hell, if you don’t want it for a Grand, I’ll have it!

I’ve ordered a TMARS – for £40 it’s worth a go to see if I get on with a dropper or not. Any idea if Shims are provided with them or do I need to order one too?

Breaking your own Ankle whilst trying to remove a badly set up Ski Binding after busting your leg in three places?

    Cos that did chuffing hurt!

My entire Bike is White (Whyte 629) so it would look really Gash with Black Forks!

I’m 5′ 9″ – ideally looking for a complete bike as I’m too impatient to wait whilst I build something up!

I must be behind the curve as I’m actively looking for a cheap 26″ full sus to play with!

Another vote for the A1 – mine is in Metal Flake – comfy and well made – haven’t noticed it being especially hot though

I’ve got one – it’s my first proper MTB as I’m new to this stuff – I like it, but have nothing to compare it to, other than an 8yr Trek 3700…

The North Face Tent Boots are my preferred footwear – they look odd, but are toasty and can deal with both indoor and outdoor excursions, including sprinting down the road after the Postman

One of my colleagues (also on here) has a v50 and can a bike in the back – front wheel off, bike on its side

Just checked the RockShox site and it looks like the maximum disc size for my forks (XC30) is 180mm so I guess that plan is out of the window then!

The forks agave post mounts and the calipers look flat too (Avid Elixir 1s) – so do I just add a 23mm spacer?

    Cheers for the response

I’ve been a Lens wearer for over 25 years – daily disposables have always been best for me – comfortable to wear and vision doesn’t degrade as it seems to with monthlies.

After wearing them for this long, popping them in and out is easy – but it takes a bit of getting used to.

I’ve got a spare Jabra Speak 410 if you want one to try?

E91 – can get the 29er in with the front wheel off – have to fold the seats down though. Bit of a faff with bags of riding kit in there as well, but that’s probably more down to my carrying too much random kit.

I’ve got a 32gb iPhone 5 that I keep meaning to sell – originally on O2 but unlocked for all networks. In original box with charger and new headphones. £180

@Northwind My main aim is to try and avoid crashing in a muddy heap through the winter on the Surrey Hills – new to this mountain biking lark and wanted something a little more sticky than the Maxxis Ikons that came on my Whyte 629

S’pose I’d better order some more rubber then. What’s the verdict – Black Chili Trail Kings/Rubber Queens or something else?

I said it before and I’ll say it again. Arse.

Nuts – that means the pair of new Rubber Queens I’ve just bought aren’t Black Chili as they are made in India – guess that explains why I keep ending up on my arse at the slightest sign of moisture.

    Am I beyond redemption?

Burnsybhoy – I generally buy tyres from mytyres.net or blackcircles.com – much cheaper – generally pay sub £100 a corner, then get a local fitter to bung them on.

I wouldn’t move away from Runflats without checking with my insurers first – it’s changing the manufacturers spec of the car in a fundamental way.

I’ve got a Talk2 – multipoint Bluetooth, streaming etc – impressed… Only thing against it is that I like my Choons loud, so wish I’d bought it’s slightly bigger brother the Play2….

I’ve got a 3 Series Touring – boot is adequate but gets full of bike very quickly – engine (2 litre petrol) is underpowered though – once it’s moving its ok…

Would I buy another? Yes, but it would have to be a bigger (diesel) engined, M Sport jobbie….

I got a Camelbak Mule with an MBR subscription and am expecting a Lezyne Macro Duo with an MBUK Sub – cancel once payment is made, wait a coupla three months until another worthwhile “gift” comes up then renew again. Simples.

I’ve got a BlackVue one – works well and I used it to prove I wasn’t at fault when an oncoming van took out the side of my (stationary) car.

Getting the insurance companies involved to accept the damn footage took 6 months though – but saved me way more than I paid for the camera…

Got an Exposure mount on my A1 – seems to work just fine….
