pop it on a fused ext lead at least.

when Li-ion batteries go pop they like to burn.
shaver adapter should be ok, better if it’s fused.

    Have you checked TFTuned.
    they do collect services.

Having had a few “issues” with LBS servicing i will always send my stuff to Mojo/Loco/Tftuned.

my Rear shock is booked in for a TFT and Push upgrade next week.
    P.S. mojo for warentee work.
Once i need anything out the warentee or custom setup, Loco and TFT are always my first call.

    Here is the plug details.

    The C E mark looks like European C E.

Bigbloke that looks the same layout as mine.
I also suspect that as that green resistor / fuse failed it then caused the noise and launched the cable, pcd and battery over 1m.

I’ve not at any point said cheap lights are worry free.
I however did not expect what happened last night and it’s opened my eyes.

Again to backup what Richard said ignoring the trolls and stupidity I have learnt that a breaker is useless and I will charge of a 3amp power bar in the future.

Swag that’s a copy of mine I’m sure.

I bought this light from eBay from a recommended seller of here.

I did test the light during an hour and a half walk with the light showing two bars left so I guessed it was good for one and three quarter hours.

The battery did not last 45 mins last night and we had a backup light.

I’m now wondering if this is a ss x2 light with a cheaper battery and charger.

A lot of people are making this bigger than it needs to be. My point from the start is owners of ss x2 please be careful. Check your plugs for a fuse and never leave these things unattended to charge.

Just in case anyone missed it.

    IT’S NOT A USA CHARGER. IT’S A UK PLUS, NO ADAPTERS…

    OK.

Also gofaster we never said it was going to burn the house down that was you.
My worry was that someone could be seriously injured by what happened and as better people have pointed out its an unfused charger.
I should have checked or put it into a power breaker.
Also it is CE marked on the charger.

Thanks for the stw off topic crap..

So many fox RLC’s have had their CSU’s replaced recently.

I sent my fox to mojo for a service to have my CSU replaced FOC but mine weren’t creaking.

few threads on here of people recently having their CSU replaced.

have you spoken to Mojo and asked them?

Just go back to said shop and get the correct size chairing bolts… Perhaps at the same time as when you take your forks to have the spacers taken out…. And the wheel trued!

Yes it is but when you have 4 to build being 10mm qr, 20mm bolt, etc. It’s easier to have a wheel jig in your room and rubbish on the TV and tea in a mug than outside in a shed alone.

    Hob Nob.

That’s my issue with the nomad, it’s TOO good.
You plough though stuff and don’t notice it, the most fun i’ve had was my mk3 heckler with 140mm travel.

I rode the alps, swiss DH, local loops, canals, dirt jumps all the time while not as “efficient and plush” it was a hoot to ride, just inspired me to jump off stuff (smiles for miles)

The nomad just takes everything in its stride and swallows the rough stuff, it removes the essence of MTB for me and i think it’s added to me quitting MTB as a full time hobby.

yup was running a tftuned coil, that shock hasn’t had one full ride on it.

i pop’d it on and did a 1/2 loop of the woods to make sure all was well and didn’t need servicing but it’s as new, buttery.

Thanks for the info about the 4x.

    any for sale? :)

put it like this i have a 3-4 year old laptop, i run vista on it and it dies, slow to do anything – stutters loading simple things even like firefox etc, never wakes up from sleep mode, loads of things.

i installed win7 and it's like XP speed but with vistas looks. it sleeps right, wakes up on opening the lid in 3 seconds to a login screen and windows works instantly at this point i don't have to wait until vista chooses to let me work, no windows freezes, programs open faster and with less lag than before.. granted a powerful pc you sat there saying well vista can do all this already, i don't think you would notice how much resources and processor time vista eats up.. Win7 is what Vista should have been like.
