    Ignore them at your peril..

My kitchen roof still has latex on it and I find it in random spots still.
Our ears rang for a bit too and my dog wasn’t chuffed.
Before a smart arse chimes in.
Genuine tubeless tyres were used (and are mounted OK still) and I went to 60 psi with a recommendation of 45 on the rim.

    Don’t exceed the recommended pressures..

For the money it’s excellent value.

    Steve.
I have XT the new version.

    Pro
    Huge power
    Lighter than hope.

    Cons
    Less adjustable then hope.
Can’t get parts, if you break a caliper or seal you need a new complete caliper. Hope you can get the parts at a few quid not a new caliper at tens of quid.
    Bite point adjuster is useless….
On off nature (Hopes have far better modulation).

Still recon the spicy LP would murder the 5 on the ups.
Given the spicy and Zesty have the same front triangles most likely the spicy is a Zesty with a lo get shock stroke (I’m guess here but is the Zesty 50mm stroke and the spicy 57mm?).

5 better on the downs. Zesty better on the ups.
    And yes I’ve ridden both.

you turn the cup around incase you pull the bush to far in.

If you don’t and you pull the bush to far in you will **** the edge up on the bush.
if you turn the cup around and pull to far it will just come out the shock the other side with no damage.

    simples!

    My partner has a bronson.
It depends on if you can find the top race on the headset to fit.
Physically you should fit it in but why do it?
Your stuck to overdrive stems and some odd headset top cup/race if you can find one.
Other option is to swap your fork crown/stantions/steerer via loco, tftuned or lbs etc.

    Just a note.
some people have said their socket has rounded the top of the fork nut.
just be careful of this, you may need to buy a cheap socket and get the edge machined or ground flat.

We found the best option was to have a loop from the front lowest cable support on the downtube to the front mech and loose that stupid cable routing on the lower chain stay.
it improved shifting and stopped that rubbing.

LP cable routing is utter tosh.

I’m running token less at to test.
    82-85 fully kitted (drinks depending).
80 psi (on a fox digital pump)
Testing at BPW may run lower psi and a token still unsure.

    Jairaj is bob on.
You really have to push the Pike to use full travel.
It’s not a fork that will flatter your ego by pushing though the travel and leaving the travel marker at the Crown.
I had to drop off a pretty big drop to get mine to bottom out and the rapid recovery worked pretty well. If you do go big it stays composed and returns to full travel pretty quick.
Don’t be worried about that last inch. Maybe drop 5 psi or a click or two faster on the Rebound but I’d personally leave it for those Ohhh **** moments.

Jimmy speak to lock or tftuned they “machine” the damper rod to shorter if needed.

yer, you can run it with less effect (i.e. go to the minus and maybe 2 clicks to the +) see how it goes and add more if you need it.

weight also applies to the rebound as your lighter you may need slightly slower rebound than a heavier rider.

Minus for RS means LESS EFFECT.
so – on LSC means less compression damping which means the fork is more supple on small bumps.

    fozzybear

    + is firmer.
It will resist the compression of the forks while braking.
BUT it will also resist small bumps so try and run it as low as you can.

Pedal (trail) mode has increased compression.
To be honest i use open 99% of the time and pedal (trail) mode for the climbs and Locked for fireroads only.

I think pedal mode is what you make of it.
I find that the compression is to high for “trail” use and prefer open mode. When i get the fork serviced i’ll ask TFTuned or loco if they can lower the compression internally.

(This is where the fox is better as you can put the trail mode into soft setting, where it is not as soft as decent mode but still has increased compression).

The red adjuster effects rebound for ALL modes but to be honest you should set it in open mode as this is when it will be most effective (and the mode you will be using the fork in 95% of the time).
Rebound is the speed that the forks return when extending.

NOTE that the pike has a rapid recovery system which overrides the user set rebound in situations where the full stroke of the fork is used.

    Graeme
I’m 80kg (with gear maybe just over) and i needed a single token to ramp up the end of the stroke.
Pike don’t blow though the mid stroke like Fox do but i can get full travel out them both at the same spot on our loop.

I found the Zesty to be an excellent climber.
Maybe one of the best Full Sus climbers I’ve ridden.
