Yellow tape?? pardon (new to this tubeless thingy..)

i have stan's spoke tape but it's not enough to lift this tyre to a good enough seal. i have 2 complete revelations of that round the rim already.. appear with this combo (tyre and rim) you need a really built up rim (proven by using 2 velox tape strips, i tried one wouldn't mount, 2 yup mounted now) it now mounted the rim and is staying up (in my office)

not storing cookies ;) thats the issue

    quick round up though

A likely cause is the file that stores cookies may be corrupt. To test this close Firefox, go to your profile folder and rename cookies.sqlite to cookies.tmp
Restart Firefox, log into those sites and then see if it remembers the logins.

can i just say 2pure are a good bunch, helpful and fast with CB pedals..

i personally wouldn't want 2pure to appear bad as they do a great job of supporting a product i personally feel has some issues that need addressing.

as much as i thank 2pure for all their help repairing my CB pedals over the years i've sold them all..

i've bent and snapped spindles, destroyed bearings and worn out "wings" in times that no one would believe. 2pure always fixed them with no complaints (although they like to claim a lack of maintenance for most failures i personally believe that the CB pedal needs excessive looking after when compared to other spd's on the market). i had a candy come off still attached to my foot not 3 months old, only to be told i didn't grease them (i didn't, they were new in the box and 3 months old.. who'd have thought you needed the grease a brand new pedal out the box! i would have expected them to come pre greased and needed topping up after 6 months)

granted there are lots of people who love them (i love the float and the fact my knees were ok after riding on them) and will claim to never look after them or have any issue. for me having owned 2 mallet M's and 2 candy CL's and basically swapping like for like as 2pure etc repaired the broken pair i got bored… of dealing with a good (sorry great) idea poorly executed. grease ports needed, better seals needed, better bearings needed (maybe less so if the seals were good) stronger axle needed (i'm 12st on and bent one and snapped another) i could live with the wing's cutting into my shoes (with sole savers to protect and help clip in) but not the rest.

shimano don't have enough float for me and hurts my knees. Gone back to flats.

send a message to my gf (golfchick) she will tell you the thing she uses.

she has an o2 reporting tool that tell you how many txt and minutes you have left.

the other i think she stopped using but it would count characters, messages and total messages sent per the month.

the PD engine is a classic for blowing off boost pipes as stumpy01 says (work in "car industry") that engine was fitted to golfs, skoda's, audi's etc.

seen a lot with leaking pipes. normally turbo's don't go bang.. it's the pipes as the clips fail or come off as the compressed air is released.

failed turbo's result in white/blue exhaust not black, black is poor mix of fuel/air commonly from leaking boost pipes..

find a recommended (by someone on the Seat forum say) garage… would guess £50 for the pipe plus time finding it.

worse case the turbo was gone 4-500 for a turbo dynamics recon excellent guys fast and well known in the VAG community.

MRB and UKMTB and WHATMTB are all feckers for failing to provide items with subs..

used to be classic listening to ppl moan about missing pedals, jumpers, jerseys, coats, etc after taking out subs..

FYI it’s not the mag that supplies them it’s dennis publishing and once they are out it’s tough titty!!

We used to deliver meat to an old lady, she had a goldfish it was 8 years old..
ballacks you thinking… so was i…

this thing had a round bowl and used to swim in circles all the time and only one way..

this old lady used to pop the bowl on the side. pick the goldfish out and leave it on the draining board, pour the water out, quick once over with her brillo pad, quick swill and fill the thing back up.. she never rushed over this process, it wasn’t like 10 mins but i’m sure i recall it being nearly 3 mins once.. this poor bloody thing gulping and flapping about.. i took a look at the beast the one day and it was bent.. nothing drastic but it had a curve to it from swimming round the bowl i presume the one way all the time..

resilient thing it was.. she won it at a circus stall 8 years earlier.. still to this day i see the image of the flapping gulping goldfish on the draining board as she cleaned out a stereotypical bowl.

if your thinking of resubscribing to norton.. your the sort of person who deserves all it’s effects ;)

joking aside, get rid of it NOW, get avast or kaspersky if you want to pay for a solution (they are faster and less obtrusive that AVG)

if you want something free, a little slower and not as slick get AVG.. simple.

Personally i buy Avast, it includes 7-9 levels of protection depending what software you use (i don’t use e-mail programs like outlook express or outlook so avast disables the plugin’s) quietly updates, runs, monitors and even blocks spyware and firewalls against well known exploits on firewalls (inc windows, some h/w firewalls on routers or even over the lan, more common infection is a usb pen drive is infected plugged into a outside pc, your partner plugs it into a laptop elsewhere in the house and it spreads over the internal LAN, the firewall can do **** all for you then, avast has rules and blocks to prevent such infection)

what 4×4 for trail centre car park!!

    has to be a troll!

she didn’t ask WHAT 4×4 for the trail centre she said it would help

and it would also come in handy for getting into certain trail centre carparks and roads

last week, when doing her job, she had to go help someone who is less fortunate than ALL of us, someone stuck at home with no one to look after them.
It was a muddy steep road and her golf couldn’t really cope and she nearly got stuck and was very worried.
take a little more time to read the post there are AND’s and ALSO’s in there…

Almost wrote my car off last week thanks to poor tomtom which could of been prevented if i had something higher and more 4×4 and

not blaming Tomtom there.. blaming the car clearly.. and that tomtom was poor, not at fault..

Can we keep it on topic pls!?

I like the HR-v as we talked about, car like and still part time 4×4, higher off the ground and 1.6 honda engine..

Mavic XM719 discs are fine and lighter than everything suggested above (460g)

true but as i can tell you from experience a 719 is not good on rock hits.
my rear is a good example of that. Running it tubeless it’s now resembling a 20 pence piece.

not adding to any comments, i always take a wide line near dogs and find “most” owners, to at least attempt to control their dogs, things happen, we as bikers screw up, we are not infallible (unlike some of the STW trolls want to make you believe) and sometimes owners screw up and do not take into account the situation and their pet.

my worst experience was at Coed Llandegla of all places. as we minced along down a fire road decent and were turning off to a rare piece of single track :P we encountered a pair of walkers and a collie dog. at which point we nearly ended up 5 in a pile as the first guy tried to stop to avoid hitting the walkers and their pet in tow.. only to have some silver surfer berate us for going so fast (on a “MTB only” marked trail) and then one of our group was bite by the over excited dog due to raised voices and all the squealing of bikes, tyres, brakes and voices :) .

reality of the situation was the walkers were stupid and “the signs do apply to us” attitude nearly caused us to go into each other, caused a friend to go get a jab later (to be fair he is a lawyer and most likely deserved it) and general upset in the group when we were in the right and were annoyed to have a pair of people who should know better kicking off at us…

truth is we all have tails good and bad.. just be respectful of the animal. yes the owners could be better or worse but end of the day they are animals and as people will react differently to situations. As some people will freeze and panic if you cycle towards them, same can apply to animals.
