They replaced with a different designed csu for mine.
The part the stantions push into was longer I think.

I had some with a knocking noise.
My nice lbs returned them to Mojo for me.

They were returned with a new csu and a note about how the csu was internally split and dangerous.. The knock they (lbs) assume was the stantion top moving. On Rockshox now.

    P. S. Not saying this is your issue btw.

    Your ratio at f24 – r34 is 0.71
    With a f30 – r40 you ratio is 0.75

If you want to match ratio you need a 30.
    With a 36 that rises to 0.9.

    Final drive for f30 – r11 Is 2.73.
    A f36 – r11 is 3.27.

My partner is running f30 and r36 (getting 40t at the weekend) and doesn’t run out of gears down bpw.

I’d be speaking to the shop too.
If he had the cheek to get the forks sent there and then does that surely the shop owner needs to know.
(then again they may be in on it )

    Only works with a 36t.
The jump from 32 or 34 is to big to transition smoothly plus the ratio jump on say a 30/34 to a 30/40 is Larger too most jumps are 2 to 4 teeth on a cassette.

You have a limit, you can import before duty is an issue.

I’m sure a Google will tell you.
Jenson are a good reseller, watch out as you get taxed on postage….

    Ran mine with 785.
    Never an issue.
My new stem is even lighter than the Thompson.

    Bs rumours tbh

    http://www.bikerumor.com/2012/11/27/hands-on-sabs-antilock-bicycle-brake-pads/%5B/url%5Droady version?

There was an early version i saw yearssss ago that had a ring drive around the front hub that was like a ABS ring on a car, this has a teeth cog running into it which ran a pump to cause the pads to flutter in and out.
    it was cool.

    I spoke to promax directly.
They have no UK reseller who sells to the public atm.
They are working on it and your only option is USA import.

I have some of those for sale.
EVO 12mm caps not even used. Came on my hope wheels and took off for 10mm caps.

We used a enduro BB. Was excellent and had good Seals. Sold with the frame still running sweet.

    Check your rotors aren’t 183mm.
I know the kit should include 180mm rotors but would be easy for them to give you the 183mm version and not notice.

    Nope nothing Simon.
Left a message a few days back I was told you were biking. Some enduro project thing.
As above its not a problem. :-)

Either way my lbs gave me some crush washers.

PS. Hope it was nothing serious

Alpin merlin had them cheap last week 10 Speed slx with bash.

He answers a lot of suspension threads.
I bought a longer damper rod (which he had machined for me) and fluids etc.
    All good and Happy.
I did call a few times and leave messages (asking to buy crush washers) and I left a message another time and didn’t get a call back.
I’m just being honest here, like I said I’m happy with his service just could do with a reliable message service. :D

I’ve bought stuff from loco and I’m very happy with advise, products and help I hope he doesn’t mind me saying this.
Don’t email him as he is so busy and misses them I think. Also bare with him when calling as I’m guessing he is a one man band and is out biking or working elsewhere sometimes.

    Hora.
We followed a guy down the final decent at Blade.
He had XT cranks with the same issue (and he lost a bolt too somehow!)
He was bloody lucky he didn’t come a cropper, he dropped the crank arm mid roll of on a stone drop and just saved it.

Had it been 2 seconds later he would have been in A&E.

Got my bits from loco (plus longer damper rod)
Need to remember crush washers next time.

I didn’t enjoy it (Yer it’s called an opinion and yours can differ! Pre troll disclaimer)
Whites used to be a nice trail but sadly time has not been kind to it.

I loved the heartburn climb on blade. That’s how the whites climb used to be.

The final decent is good the rest is tosh.
I won’t be going back to afan for a long time.

Plus side it was a lovely day, sunny and warm had it been wet and windy (after the forest cull) I’d have been a nightmare to be with.

Speak to loco/tftuned they sell service kits.

    Go for the R.
The RT only changes floodgate (break away force required) for the lockout mode.

Make sure you get the right tune on the shock.

    As above.
    Front rings no.
Front mech yes (thinner chain on 10 spd).
I should add that it may work but I can say the width of a 10 Speed front mech (Duel xt) was narrower than my 9 Speed (Duel xt).

Oh yes and get some spare crush washers…
One of mine was totally goosed and had pulled into the lower leg.

Care you don’t do as I did.
There is a small port on the air damper to equalise the pressures. I was a bit to enthusiastic with the grease and blocked mine.

If you **** up loco/tftuned are a great help.

    Port was blocked Simon.
Hammered them in afan at the weekend and that sorted them.

    Peice of pie.
The easiest forks I’ve had to service.
How much are you stripping them?
Fitting new seals to the air damper?
Make sure you twist the cap the air damper circlip sits in before attempting to remove it.
If so get some decent circlip pliers mine were twisting under the force needed to pinch the ring (fairly cheap ones).
    Use slick hunny for lube.
The air damper is a sod to get pushed in while removing the clip no easy way.
Find a decent price of doul for attaching a clean rag to, to get to the bottom of the legs.

One is more adjustable (larger range of 12 or so settings as apposed to 3 or so with the rt3) with Rebound I think.
Something says it’s the lowest one too.

    Shimano chains are directional.
    Lettering should be facing you.

    fozzybear

How do you know the chain is riding over the cogs?
Is it the freehub not correctly engaging and spinning under load?

Fit some enduro press fit bearings and much shield (orange plate on the outer side of the bearings) they are flipping amazing.
My OH was killing a BB in 3 months on her old LP.
The enduro BB was smoother and lasted a lot lot longer than any other.

    Speak to loco.
Sounds like you have air passing between the chambers.
Normal use keeps the seals lub’d and soft.
I suspect that over time the air has passed the seal a service will have them working well again.
I don’t think you have a uturn fault.

It’s apparently to stop water going inside the Bb.
    I can’t confirm that, it’s from a Google.
