    Yes I agree ChrisL – I know many years ago they were one of the fastest mail order companies out there but I think with their increasing size and automation perhaps some orders are held up now? I am not having a moan – just interested in what is the norm now for CRC?

    Well I have emailed them to see if anything is actually out of stock – sounds like you maybe disadvantaged for buying multiple items?

    Not bashing just TBH other retailers are quicker ATM – I may have to leave even more time for the order to come in if I need something?

    If you got it, use it, if not, then not really much loss :)

    Think you’ll find, as I have, the fitter you are the less you suffer with cramp – I get it when my effort is way above norm FWIW – not much I can do about it if I’m going flat out?

    KMC missing link – I have reused SRAM power link 10sp with a link remover a few times without any issues :)

    I know that a mate had some old Mega exo cranks and would only fit his Hope BB with a mallet – Perhaps it depends on the year? Mine seem fine?

    XTR + SP41 in 10 metres was a great purchase – the XTR fittings can then be swapped over when recabling so all you need for many years is the odd new inner (at whatever expense you like i.e. std, high Qual or coated) – cut the same lengths of SP41 and then just pull the rubber gromnits/cable ends over and hey presto :)

    If its full length your after just get SP41 and a good qual inner – pref coated :)

    Have you made sure your lock ring is tight?

    Yup should be fine – I have to say my FSA MegaExo (with extra shell protection) is still going strong after 2 years – amazed really given their reputation!

    I do service is say every 6 months esp if it gets any creaks.

    Thanks Stumpy, LOL – that’s the plan – BM3D, Bikefest 12 Hr solo type of thing :)

    Probably still be way back from the top 10% but at least I’ll be comfy and enjoy myself :) or AGNI ?

    As I also have an Orange 5 Janesy then that maybe why it appeals ;) LOL

    @Fuzzy – Martin I can fit then at 120mm or 100mm with a handy spacer :) They are new ;)

    Gonna try the frame @ 120mm and then 100mm and see what I like better :)

    Yup components should be Fulcrum Red Metal 1, F120’s, XT x10 Group, Ritchey WCS carbon bars, Hope BB, Seatpost and Stem. Built up for marathons not uber lightweight racing.

    @cynic-al – thanks :)

    If I had the choice rather than the cost I would go Shimano – I just got the Apex gruppo 5 months ago and the front mech is horrible. I think the 105 would be a better shifting gruppo. The double tap I find OK but obviously its not as snappy as an Ultegra setup. Once I changed my front mech to a sale Ultegra SL its been spot on and great on my Audax/Winter setp :)
