I got the same rims – just use the yellow tape to seal the holes, trim the tape around the valve hole (with a stanley knife so you get a clean cut or with a file like on the stans website) and get 2 universal Stans valves:

Regardless of whether I would or wouldn’t ride a rigid SS he is still a knob – if you can’t say anything nice , don’t say anything at all?

About 18mph usually – keep it steady so I have fun at the weekends 🙂

I was being chased by a guy (that I had seen on my route into work) on a hardtail the other day when I looked around he had dropped his mate and was gaining on me slowly – I though OK lets see what you have under your bonnet…..

Didn’t see him again 😆 But I am not competitive 🙂

Yeah I’m on the Campbell video as well – Fame!

I hope you don’t mind the blatent plugging but if anyone is interested I have written an article on it (well mostly my poor performance 😉 ) with a quick interview with Steve Parr and the FC about Eastridge 🙂

Did you touch the freehub bearings at all? Did you grease the pawls/ratchet too much?

Have had 2 ribbles (still got one) happy with bikes and even with the warranty when I had to claim was more than a year – good service and good VFM frames IMHO 🙂

My Ultegra one lasted about 18 months before It got a bit rough – my MTB hope stainless BB is still going strong so would be interested if the road ones are similar?

I expect that with some bodging the V Brake lever will be OK for the canti but not the other way around? As long as you have and adjustable reach then I am sure you can get them to a usable position 🙂

You can get inline bar levers for cyclocross which plug into the STI setup?

New one on me – for a rear creak under load/high torque are knackered jockey wheels – My top pully’s ceramic bushing was not there – totally disintegrated! Off tangent sorry!

I used to use a rear mech pivot bolt in the hole which worked nicely – just get a toughened steel bolt to put in the axle hole (just big enough to fit into the crank recess) if you dont want to but the HTI tool?

    Hi

The Manual is correct and that’s what we recommend. If its not too much trouble would it be possible to point me in the direction of the details specifying the “100 hr intervals” recommendations on our site as I’m not away of any.

Sorry for any confusion, but you are correct to follow the manual.

    Cheers,

    Mojo Suspension Hoodoo Ltd.

Sorry thats the info i was given recently 🙁 Sorry [goes away to eat humble pie and cry]

Sorry but I was aware that they have increased their service intervals – That is a very lazy email from Fox – Have you tried Mojo – they are usually much more helpful – I will now email them myself!

ones seen online are most likely old

    – I like that “Most likely” as in I haven’t bothered to look?

I think that’s a load of horse poo as the previous years have very different service intervals on the web based and pdf based manuals!

Not too bad – horizontal ridges with mesh over the top – not crap but not brill – not contoured though which is my only negative point.

I think more thought has gone into them than camelbacks – the rigidity I have found helps with the weight distribution over your back – esp if your back is as crap as mine, magnetic clip on the bite valve very handy and the inner pockets seem good and the reservoir seems a bit more sturdy?

This is going from a 5 year old Camelback Mule though!

I know this doesn’t answer your question for a £30 pack but how about an osprey raptor for £45-50? Bloody good IMHO 🙂 On special on Snow and Rock!

My bad – I thought it was the same as the Five but obviously the Alpine/224 evo does not have pinch bolts unlike previous models – similar but with a through axle – 😳 Sorry for the miss info 🙁 Need new brain – doh
