Don’t go off like a rocket – just wind up the friction steadily – take a towel and some drink and a close fitting top to allow you to sweat if its warm!

I think its more the break than the beer 😉 – when you get wound up your objectivity goes out the window – you need to step back, take a break, rethink, relax and then go back fresh 🙂

LOL – I did a MTB ride yesterday with 3000 feet of climbing over 40K – it did not feel like I only burnt 1500 calories 😉

    Otherwise all fine 🙂

I think so (IIRC) but I am sure someone will confirm?

I dunno – Mine has a bit of twist still TBH – I think the bushings are not a majorly close fit – I wonder whether the new 120 post has closer tolerances? I dont think the little bit of play you describe is a sign of a fault from what I have read?

Both 😉 HT is great for most things but after a while tech trails centres get a bit bangy for me?

carbon paste around the bottom (or grease but I’d prefer not to) and grease around the moving parts on the clamp sections 🙂

Are you sure its not the rails on the seat?

The South Dartmoor one @ South Brent – be good to do it in a group?

I used to be in the Scouts & Done D of E etc so map reading / compas use not too bad.

+1 Votchy – mine is a bit closer IIRC as well – I thought it was dish but its not – also check you swingarm bearings are a similar distance on the axle stubs – I.e. check bearings – disconnect the shock one end and move the swingarm when the wheel is removed?

    foxyrider

as above but 110 is the axle length in mm as well.

I reckon try decent fitting Allen keys first – Cheap ones are awful – they round as they dont fit well enough and allow rotation inside the head every time you torque it!!
