I have skinny legs and fit a medium so I think they come up a bit small?

I’ve done endurance races before where the soloists get an “S” to hang under their saddle, so everyone knows instantly why they’re going so slow and (hopefully) affords them a bit more respect instead of just forcing them off the track.

    Me too :)

Just be patient – they are normally very good?

Sorry my post was useless up there!

I have both Gator Skins and GP4 S’s – I find the grip on the GP’s much better than the Gators but obviously they wear a little quicker. Neither seems to puncture readily – only one puncture on both (GP’s had a blow out down hill and the Gators I was running a bit too soft and pinched). Both 23c .

    BTW King don’t do integrated.

TBH I have both and I can pick between them for puncture resistance – TBH I prefer the GP4 Seasons for grip :)

Some of the “slower” riders wern’t just slow as at least 60 of them were doing 8 hours solo ;)

Hi Simon – legs fine – commuted in this morning – back buggered though ;)

I tried emailing them but no reply – maybe I’ll give them a ring?

Your team did well! Sat and Sunday it seems?

yup good idea although your front rings may wear a bit more rapidly although if its below .75% may not be too bad :) Also if it stops jumping when you have put the old chain back on then you have your answer :)

Oops – hmm – brain not working today!

Either really – I would at least clean and lube the cables and setup the rear as best you can (free) and if it still jumps then try a new cassette :)

Would love to Les but at work today – also did the 8hr Oktoberfest Solo ride Sunday so maybe a little tired :) The weather is a changin!

I use degreaser on our garage floor with DOT stains etc – seems to work well :)

Would have been tough to solo as once the pace dropped below a critical point the course became a lot harder to ride.

Spot on there esp on a Hard tail !

Hmm – Oh I get it – so I made my last lap then?

    foxyrider

    I managed 14 laps – first 8 hour solo – 21st/60 overall so chuffed. I was only 5 mins off 10th @Gary!

I shouted every one through although some people were getting aerated if they had to sit behind me for 5 seconds! Some of us were doing a fair few more laps than others – a bit of understanding may have been in order!

I am testing the G-Forms for our bike magazine ATM (cyclist no1) – so far pretty impressed for a lightweight pad :) The yellow is very bright :)

You can get different chain ring nut/bolt depths – are they too deep?

X-fusion- “infinite” adjustment, some largely positive reviews but still a bit of an unknown quantity.

Mines been OK apart from the seal squeaks – I took mine apart to grease it :)
