    yeah its calledthe apc

    recruit – basic skills

pass out whee you get the berret and associated cap badge

1* improve and increase on recruit stuff

2* get first rank and more skills and lessons

    3* cpl

    4* sgt

master cadet staff sergeant/ colour sgt, wo1, wo2, under officer

as each level goes up the lessons become more in depth and responsibility greater. by the time you get to 3* you will have fired

    l98a1/ sa80
    .22 rifle
(lsw before the ta took theirs back from our company)
    12 gauge shot gun
target rifle ( if selected for shooting comps)

yes back hander it was a cadet 'thing'

how ever it consisted of 3 day tac ex and various ambush and re org scenarios

that comment was obviously a joke when i mentioned the wine gums…

I have done tactical ex with the princes of wales royal regiment whilst doing my army proficiency certificate 3* on Salisbury plain westdown camp and castle martin training ground in Pembroke.

I have my 100 2nd class shot on the sa80 and the same on a clay pigeon range. How ever like every one else who is not specifically trained in search and tracking I would not have the foggiest of where he is going or gone.

But a chinooke filled to the brim with sas landing and doing patrols with door gunners and a few police spotter planes and choppers would move things on nicley.

in some of the later pictures he has the same looks as soap mc tavish from mw2 :O

I have a wee bit experience doing tactical exercise with army, who ever said the sas are only for war and homeland security surely this falls under the later?

Its been so tempting to phone the fuzz and say

'fly me up there, give me a unit of sas, a police spotter helicopter and 26 packets of wine gums and he'll be yours in 48 hours, dead or alive'

I'm a lifeguard at the local council pool so feel obligated to help.

As the injury is scabbed it is capped off from the outside world (unlike the bp well :P)

The pool is 100%clean unless the lifeguards have failed to clear any poop or sick. foreign bodies are sterilized within a matter of minutes. 98% of all the crap is in the top 15cm's of water so as the injury is on your leg you should not worry to badly.

If you are that badly concerned i suggest a moisturizer on the area around the scab as this will stop any osmosis occurring into your body in that area.

    thank you monkeychild 😀

unfortunately due to some of the comments raised the armed forces thread got locked 🙁

Eldridge here are some causes you may be able to put input to:

    http://www.raf.mod.uk/bbmf/
    http://www.vulcantothesky.org/

Oh and Eldridge if you do feel the armed forces are a waste of space like previously listed then why moan about an armed forces tribute not being complete. sort it out!

the memorial flight has very little input from the raf, and quite frankly if some people an keep them running in their spare time good on them, especially after this long a time.

All mechanics have little niggles every now and then and perhaps today was one of those days?

Eldridge rather than moan about it get off your ass and donate your time to the restoration of them and general maintenance!

If you put no action into something dont moan when the outcome isnt as good as it should be.

So because the navy has made some mistake you feel they should no longer be the senior service?
I would also like to remind individuals that they royal marines and special boat squadron fall under the senior service.

Does every one easily forget about what the 4 royal marines did when they strapped themselves to the outside of an Apache ah6h longbow to search for a lost colleague?

and the raf and army have both made some huge blunders! but they are performing incredibly well under the circumstances!

2 different mind sets and i hold the up most respect for armed forces personal, i may have been rash saying i'd put him in a wheel chair but i would clearly make it know how i feel!

so if some one told you he wished you and your colleagues died under tragic circumstances you would do nothing?

After studying environmental science (studies) at a level i can whole heartedly agree rkk01.

I plan to be joining the navy and if i were to be around anybody saying what you have had jlc they would be in a wheel chair. Yes the armed forces go to war and often have to 'kill' people. Its part of the job description and it is done on the word of royalty, politicians and the high state officers.

I for one would fear a sailing upon a submarine because of the potential risks involved during combat. You have the nerve to wish they would die. Lets whack you in a submarine with a crew whom you know to the very limits and then place you in a combat situation.

Chances are you'd be the first one to bottle, heck I know i could break under those circumstances i have only taken part in land exercises with the cadets and small camps with the armed forces.

If you feel you should die I dare you to walk up to any person of the armed forces even those at headly court and say it to their faces! I for one know you would get the sh*te kicked out of you repeatedly and locked away for
    in sighting hatred!

and it also used to be treason for wishing any of her majesty's armed forces death. on a side note causing any harm to personal in armed forces uniform is a high rated offense!
