dont use it every week, the home mix requires more yeast and regular consumtion increases the yeast in your body and leads to fungal infections.

once a month should be safe

tape up or grease the shock bearings if you leave them and if you take them out then protect where they fit – you wont get them back in without removeing the paint!

I ordered and XT triple chainset and got an Ultegra chainset once, but they swapped it quick enough.

the lesson here is to order in plenty of time to avoid disappointment, dont blame wiggle!

This is really funny, illegal drug supply and drug/alcohol misuse are normal elements of society just like sex offending, People Traffciing, Illegal immigration and the host of Violence against the person Offences.

Drug and Alcohol addicts have made a concious choice to abuse what God has given them, people stay on drugs because they are too lazy to make the effort and change their behaviour, its just too hard and they know best anyway. Some do want to change but only usually when they are facing prison, they can opt for community treatment and walk free from the courts!

Residential detox is effective but prohibitively expensive.

Needle Exchange is woefully under used so needles are being resued and shared, this increases HEP B and C infections. this is also an indication of lazyness. did you know that anyone can walk into boots and demand a needle exchange kit, just give a fake date of birth, and bobs your uncle!

Too Subjective for me, the fact is that Liverpool remains the roughest Local Authority Area based on the UK National Indicies of Deprivation, which measures how skint people are and how thick they are (amongst other less interesting measures)

If you dont believe me check it out, and sort on average rank:

I was in Deepest North Devon last night and man was it blowing.

as for riding – I could barely stand up in it!

Did anyone see "Wounded" this week, I bet the bike shop owners were cussin' all those potential customers with now legs left. Anyway does anyone know exactly what type of mine/IED blows both legs and sometimes an arm off?

As for expecting sympathy, well I believe in Karma – what goes around comes around – if you go to another country shooting at the locals, dont expect to come home with all you limbs, simple.

Besides I was allways taught to "do unto others, as…………." Iw onder how the church reconciles a the crusade in Afghanistan?

Just report it to your local council community safty partnership team ASB Manager, an ASB officer will visit you to investgate it and probably install CCTV and issue log sheets (which you can use to pick the shit up with!!.

just got back from test ride on the hardrock comp – very surprised – it goes like stink – got the wheels off when I got back the rear weighs 2150g and the front 1500g – not crossmax/ust territory but lighter than crosstrails or cross rides.

    Value for money 10/10
    Performance 10/10

    Rides like £2500 hardtail!

    32lb mystery slowly uncovering:

Rear wheel complete 2800g, replacement complete is 2300g (with nobby nic and cheapo HG50-9 450g cassette)this will drop by 600g with mud X and XT M770 11-32, Making it one of my lightest rear wheels.

Front wheel complete (WTB Laserdisc/WTB Weirwolf 2.1/ plain gauge spokes/proflex hub)is 2150g (more than most of my rears!)

    the WTB tires are 750g

the Cheng shin 19.-2.1 tubes are a whopping 175g

the deore brakes are 300g for a lever/caliper each

Whoops 09 Hardrock arrived – decent weigh in 28lbs with the times on!

the BB struck me as being very low, I wouldnt like to take through a rock fest – still I only got it to commute to work once paths become too dodgy for my sirrus!

yeah rear mud clearance is crap but ok for summer fire trails – when I have built a 819/pro2 front wheel I will stick the Nobby 2.2 on the front and wack a bonty mud X 2.0 on the rear – that should sort it out

Unless you have cooked too much then you cant get blame for her eating too much. If she cooked too much then its her fault.

just tell her that she is in charge of what goes down her fat throat.

yeah but after you have got the new frame you will also need:

    new outer cables
new BB and maybe new chainset
    new seat post
    new seat post QR
    headset removed and refitted.

probably easier to get your ETSX nicked and get a whole new bike on your insurance.

Right-o-then Proflex fans/curious/returnees….They are back sort off – I have not any of them tested in STW/WMB and the manuala first language is Spanish then English then French! Proflex seem to sponsor Spanish riders too! I tell you what though to spaniards must be bloody fit -its a right tank!

It arrived today box fresh from Wheelies Direct – I think they have a few more left!

When I lifted it out of the box I nearly gave myself a double hernia – I had forgotten what 32lbs felt like. either that or my body has wasted away pushing a biro at a desk all day long? any way onto the scales it goes and yes 32lbs dead!

Anyhoo I quickly started to firk through my spare odds and ends thinking that I must have some lighter kit to fit on, than it came with?

This is what got swapped out:

    50mm riser bar for 21mm FSA 282
No brand 120mm stem for Cannondale 110mm
Seat post for Thomson 410 (its a 27.2 BTW)
Rear wheel for 819/Pro2/M580 cassette/ nobby nic UST
LX mech for XT rapido rise.

    Plus I fitted time atacs

Net result = 32lbs !!!!argh !!! All that I ended up saving was the weight of the pedals!

I think the front wheel and brakes will be next to go, the whole bike feels lighter at the back than the front now- which is wrong!!

As for the rear suspension – what a revelation – no matter how hard I stomped or bounced on the pedals there was no squat or bobbing – I think it is just as good if not better than VPP! there is no lockout on the shock – but I dont think I need it! the only down size is that it is no lightweight, I reckon with a decent front wheel and mid range brakes it should scrape 30lb

I ended up paying £900 for it – brakes are 2009 Deore and I can throw in the discs too.

The brakes are 2008 Shimano BRM 485 Hydraulic 180/160 Roter

RRP is £150 front and £150 rear ie £300!!! but CRC are doing them at £75 each ie £150. I will take £100 posted!

please smoke if you want – why punish yourself?

Do you want your headstone to read, "he stopped smoking and was a miserable git"

My gran smoked 20 day for 75 years and died aged 90 – so fags must be good for you.
