I seasoned mine lots ,fried quickly in olive oil butter mix ,scattered with onions ,garlic ,herbs and let rest whilst I made sauteed potatoes with sage and Chanterlle shrooms . Ate it rare with gusto and am now drinking red wine

The Anchor at Kippford near Dbt is in a beautiful position and is ok as far as pub food goes, There is an Italian in Dbt not been there but it was recomended to me by a mate from DBT .The Kings arms in Castle douglas is great and run by a friend of mine who is a biker

I have done this with leather ,and as an upholsterer i suggest if you use leather soak it ,as then it will become elastic and once it dries it shrink fits, however using glues becomes tricky.
