I had a Cotic Soul 27.5 and now have a TransAm 275 though I can’t give feedback as I’ve not ridden the TransAm as mrsforge has been using it I’ve only ridden it to check the gears works :) and not enough to form an opinion.

Mate still has a Cotic 27.5 so will get a chance to back to back ride them not sure when that will be though.

Had planned to complete unfinished business at Penmancho after work call meant only doing a bit, but see its shut tomorrow due to the Rally, so I think I’ll be doing Cannock all the red and possibly bit of blue.

Is annoying I had it recently from a site that prides itself in our stock levels are real, clearly not as in stock when ordered, next day get email to say we have none.

I just canceled and went else where and just won’t bother with them again.

I feel happier reading stories that it’s not that easy to fit tyres, thanks for sharing, noted on soap bar good call.

My Carbon Am’s arrived it was the most difficult rim I have ever put a tyre on, not sure what will happen (bar a long walk) if I get a puncture on the trail, I did them with hands and tyre levers so there is a hope of trail side repair, but still not easy and took a lot of time and effort, seating the bead also hard work a 50:50 washing up liquid to water ratio for the most stubborn bit.

Then when I came to fit them rear wheel wrong adapters 12mm still but I am guessing 135 as not wide enough, so quick mail and superstar to their credit sent them next day with double haribo so that’s ok then :-)

So now they are all built up on the bike and all being well will ride on them this Sunday.

Running Shimano chain on 11 speed here, not used Shimano chain for years been mainly SRAM will see how it goes, is working nicely with a renthal chain ring.

Was a spur of the moment decision to go 1×11 have to say pretty pleased so far.

I like Tarw Du too, similar view to grum on it, rode it a week or so a go and it was having my own trail it was deserted and it feels like escapism, I find it a good trail to get away from it and have some thinking time ont the climbs….. :D it’s technical enough to hold interest and I always feel I’ve burnt some good calories, fortunately there is a trail for everyone and not everyone will like it’s older trail feel, so luckily there are more trails on the other side that are different to Tarw Du.

I took advantage of the discounted 5010 Carbon frames last week, demoed back in 2013 and have fancied one since.

Pleased with my build, done a couple rides now and look forward to getting out a bit more.

Llangdegla today Sunday I am not sure yet, be Cannock, Coed, or Gisburn maybe.

Ridden there today and it was running fine, there is a diversion (signposted) to the north shore start.

First ride in 5 or 6 weeks and the 3rd of 2015!!

Was going to ride today but had a nice long walk yesterday and decided to use the gym today instead, was cold and bleak when we looked out earlier.

Second ride in 3 months and first of the year a little light on stat’s as I don’t collect any formally.

Still it had miles about 17 in all (estimate) and 1 mini sponge cake!!

I like it nicest 5 visually for some time.

I recently got a muso, very pleased with it, connectivy is good it just works spotify, optical, air play, Bluetooth etc..

Sound quality is subjective but I am often left wondering how does it sound so damn good, very pleased with it.

I would say the demo I heard in richer sounds wasn’t as flaterring as it could be should really have asked to set it up in the demo room not shop floor as it certainly Sounded even better once set up at home as that’s were its more suited of course.

Sportify Premium is/was 0.99p for three months and the better quality streams really suit the naim, there’s also some high quality Internet radio streams that are pretty good too.

App works well on iOS phone and iPad, not tried android,

Only criticism might be the remote it could be a little weightier and of a better material but really that’s as picky as I can get with it everything else is spot on.

All good, was in Friday so no back to work shock here, Jan should go quickly lots on then it be Feb and almost spring. :D

See if I can ride more than the 10 times I did in 2014, that said I need to see I actually enjoy it anymore as well kind a fallen a bit out of sorts with riding which is probably why so few rides!!

Been a long year 2014 for health, work and life in general, and so tonight we are having pizza, chocolate, some good tunes from the mu-so courtesy of Spotify and just chilling out, based on current energy levels I suspect I will be asleep come 23:59 but I am sure 2015 will be there when we wake up tomorrow, done enough NYE out and about to not need to make to big a deal of it.

Just about to finish my second year, I’ve enjoyed it and it’s amazing to look back at all the places I’ve been as I travel around for work and pleasure a fair bit so content was quite easy, had a few desperate shots of course.

I have decided not to do the same in 2015 am taking a break.

For me it will be trying to get some consistency into riding, in 2014 reckon I’ve done round 10 rides all year! So my aim more than 10 :)

I’m recovering from a nasty virus, all that is left is a cough, my lung capacity using a peak flow meter dropped massively during the illness and is still lower than pre-ill!!, still have issues with cold air just triggers coughing I will stay off the bike until I can walk in the cold without coughing, also still feel quite weak so trying to be careful.

Think the answer is not to rush back until better possible 100% so, to avoid a relapse.

I’ve a 3 Pro just replaced my work laptop with one, really pleased with it, low weight, lovely screen it’s a really nice bit of tech.

Awake since 4am hacking cough total,sleep 3 hrs last night!!
