globalti, great that you know the ins and outs of bottle cage sizing but can I suggest you apply the same vigilance to helmet sizing. The pic you’ve posted shows either a very poor fitting helmet or a very poorly worn/set-up helmet. Helmets are more important than bottle cages.
Friend used to have his mobile’s Bluetooth id as “Police Scanner 234/11-2”. Always amazed me how many people would approach sheer panic when their phone found it.
Apparently doctors and the like double your response to this question (as a rule of thumb) as most of us tend to be somewhat economical with the truth on this one!
The owner recently had the number plate F1 up for sale that at the time was on a white Bugatti Veyron. Not sure what it went for in the end (if at all) but bet it would have been truly stupid money.
But how does that Decathlon look to those of you who know your road bikes? Could it be likened to something like a £400-£500 Spesh/Trek/Giant etc. ie. good enough spec. to get a proper feel for road-riding
Cobble together a three sided screen/shelter out of some wooden posts and that reed screen stuff from the garden centre. Did something similar in my back garden to hide the garden furniture when not in use. You could even climb some plants up it to make it easier on the eye!
Our 20 month old recently had a virus and couldn't keep anything down. Did similar to above in terms of clean-up.
Gave her water in 5ml doses by syringe every 5 minutes (hospital advice) and avoided dairy (used soya milk); doctor said dairy can aggravate baby's upset stomachs, unlike in adults.
Assuming you mean one to carry little people and not luggage, I looked at these a little while back (although they all seemed to be from Germany or Holland at the time). They seemed to be pretty good value against everything else I found.
I recently put some Formula Oro (K18s with R1 rotors) on my Commencal and love them…..also run X9 shifters and you can get matchmakers for the Formulas so still got the clutter-free bar thing going on.
Best piece of advice I was ever given re. doing drops was to imagine pushing a shopping trolley away from you (ie. giving the bars a sort of shove forwards as you hit the lip). This leaves your weight back but also seems to set the angle of the bike right.
I've never been sure that the health club or swimming pool car parks didn't get locked at a particular time. If you drive past the Lookout entrance on your left, there is a small sort of lay-by about 100M further on on the left (just as the road bears to the right). Always been fine there.
I used to have a Peugeot 206 and used to fit my full-sus in the back (with seats down) with both wheels removed. IIRC I'm sure I fitted two in on occasion.
The connector system on the Topeak pump is great, but you can buy the connector on it's own to use with any pump (see link below). It's what I used to do before I bought a Topeak pump with it integrated..
Not exactly a sandwich, but a mate of mine loves taking Weetabix and spreading with butter and jam; eats it just like that! Beyond weird if you ask me.
