Originally I was very taken with weimaraners but not much reading reveals they’re regarded as more neurotic and energetic than vizslas not to mention bigger. I’d quite like a dog that looks after my gf, I’ll be working night shifts and weekends. The biggest issue aside from cost is the exercise, we’re going to be city based for the forseeable future and I’d hate to end up with a dog that was ruined by our inability to give them the space and exercise they need to thrive.

EDIT: Would it be feasable for my gf to go running with a vizsla or is that asking for trouble?

Sadly Not, was considering it but family visiting and revising for finals means it’s a pipedream. More time for mtb trails though 🙂

Got some of the soigneur stuff from planet x, felt tingly once put it on rather than warming. Actually felt colder when started my ride, I thought maybe they’d sent me chamois cream by mistake but as I type I can feel it warming. Weird

The stiffness thing was never an issue when we were all running 1inch headsets.

To all those crowing about performance, I assume your bike (why would you need more than one, after all they all have wheels so who cares? You’re all about things working) is appropriate for your ‘performance’ level.

To all those thinking it didn’t matter because the bike is crap, well it may be to you but that’s my bike and I love it. It might be unsightly but it’s mine, one of the very few things I actually own 🙂
