well i can take the first and second year maximums and by then maybe we’ll know better what may happens plus ive found out that in 3rd year the BMA and other bodies start to offer up more support.

nope, theres no grad courses in scotland. thats why SAAS dont free up the equivalent cash for fees. to do another undergrad id have to study science again (im an arts grad) for about a year then apply to undergrad courses and as ive been in Madrid for over a year that wasnt a possibility. i knew the score before i applied to be fair.

god its a total gamble 🙁 well i can only take a grand in 1st year and another grand in 2nd so wont be drowning and if rates are really starting to take off i can find other sources (hopefully) or have to jack it all in.

nope down sarf, there are no grad courses in scotland and therefore SAAS (after a million calls finding someone who knows what grad medicine is) don’t offer specific funding, they can give me a loan with a wadge of interest though…

its actually a professional studies loan im after and 3 banks as far as i know offer it. sites ive looked at so far portray v dif experiences of each bank so wanted to know if anyone on here recommended one.

the gun crime issue isnt really a deciding factor, lived in glasgow for years and while stab city has its interesting areas we´d go back in a heartbeat.

yeah looks like derby is going to win out on logistics alone. more local riding is a definite bonus plus we just had a look at flat rent prices, wayyyy! much cheaper than madrid 🙂

no car (at the mo) so maybe in time a village option may present itself but at least for the 18 months ill be in derby i think we´ll live there. going to go for a trip in may to have a look.
