Wool should still stay warm when wet though? which is why I prefer it to a synthetic which never really dry when used in layers in my experience (im pretty sweaty)

Need to sort accomodation and registration this week, what’s the general consensus for where to stay for middle distance race? Ghent? Ninove?

Kite looks very tidy but but sure it would be any lighter or nicer to ride than my cross check, I’d still buy one if had the cash though

I can see their value though for road/touring and trail use, but for racing I like as minimal as possible in both weight and effectiveness.

After my first and only cross race my bog standard shimano cantis were more than enough however knocking about on mtb trails a set of discs would be nice

yeah i think conti is a better option, they seem to come up narrow so might order a 25 and if doesn’t fit rear just use that on the front and 23 out back. Just realised I’m talking as if ive signed up 😯

I might try find someone with a conti GP4000 25 tyre and see if fits the rear stays on my lemond…

There’s no need to take the piss, it was in the original ad as you linked to a new one on a website rather than sending any pics etc. You’ve said a few times you’d post it and haven’t bothered, then you stopped replying to emails and finally you’ve replied to this.
