Just come back from a week in the Alps and need flat pedals, too scary otherwise with huge drop offs and your feet clipped in. Back in Essex wouldn't have any other pedal!
Me too, just returning after a 35 miler feeling good 2 mile from home, jersey unzipped a bee flies in and stings me on the chest! Most painful 2 miles home! I now keep the the jersey zipped!
If you come down the A1 take the A14 @ Huntingdon through to Cambridge and then the M11 join the M25 at Junction 27 from there only about 15 miles to Dartford bridge.
Make sure you also have an anchor, chain and rope. also when you throw the anchor overboard the other end is attached to the boat!!! VHF is advised over a mobile phone.
Started giving blood years ago after an road accident when I received some, gave regularly for 10+ years but then they said because I have had a transfusion they do not want my blood anymore. Wasn't very far away from my Gold Card!
I have bought a MTB and a road frame from China really pleased with both of them, try Jenny at Hongfu bikes, really good service, frames delivered in less than a week.
Hi Ran, I do have the box for the egg beaters but not proof of purchase I do know where I bought them though the only problenm it was more that a year ago.
I have a set of Egg Beaters and Smarty pedals bearings shot on both pairs of pedals, just bought the replacement kit only to find out that these pedals do not accept replacement bearings. Serves me right for being a cheapskate I suppose. I do like Crank brothers pedals though with the ease of clipping in + loads of float. Can someone recommend a set of Cranks that accept replacement bearings for about £50.00?
You will find very little snow in Ste Foy at this time of year, I have been out there for the last 8 years and all trails are clear. As other posters have stated it can snow at any time of year above 2000 mts but during the summer it has usually gone by the following day.
I built the road bike last year and have been adding some bling over the winter, the frame and fork were about $350.00US inclusive of delivery, the complete build was under £800.00
The forks have now been cut to size, and I must say the MTB frame I have just assembled is of even better quality, reminds me I must take some photos of it!
I drive 3-4 times every year to the Tarentaise, often as sole driver. It is nine hours from Calais with 2 20 min stops. The roads both motorways and A roads are so much better than the UK. Road Trips are the way to go far better than flying, you are in control of where you want to go, when you want to go!
