One thing puzzles me about the Range Rover shot, The car was travelling from right to left, Kate takes the shot, but when we see Dot he has a bullet wound on the right side of his head. Surely it should be on the left side?

    Great series though.

As we seem to be moving out of London, the best burger
I have tasted was in an Australian milk bar, “burger with the lot”.

I had a Croque Monsieur (toasted cheese and ham sarnie) here, http://www.chevallot.com/index.html in the summer, superb. The cakes are something to behold as well!

Last night I sweated off a finely chopped onion and leek, sliced mushroom and grated garlic, along with fresh sage & thyme in a pan. Once it had cooled I folded this mixture into half a kilo of the local butchers sausagemeat. This mixture was then spooned down the middle of 2 packs of puff pastry which was then plaited. These two giant sausage rolls were egg washed and then baked @ 200c for 40 minutes. Needless to say there is nothing left after 24 hours and they were way better than Greggs!

Having owned a property in Sainte Foy for the best part of 12 years, I have decided to do a season (while I still can!).

If using either the ferry or tunnel and you are going to be early or late it is advisable to call ahead and re-book as during busy times you could be waiting a while for a free slot. This has worked for us on numerous occasions while friends have been left waiting.

Fois Gras, followed by Chateau Briand then a Creme Brulee, washed down by a good red from the Rhone Valley and then if the firing squad could wait coffee cognacs.

Have you seen the size of the people pushing trolleys around Costco, not buying in bulk to save but buying in bulk to eat!

My father bought this new back in 1952. I am planning a few green lanes locally in the summer as it has just fired up after 30 years.

I would really like a T120 engine to build another greenlane bike!

I broke my wrist on a pre Christmas Dinner walk in the Alps. The French hospital pinned my wrist and I am wearing an velcro splint type cast which means I can take it off to get dressed, shower etc. I am told I need to get checked out after 4 weeks and have the pins out after 8. Hopefully I will be able to go skiing at Easter. I have my bike set up on the turbo in the conservatory to exercise but need some tt bars to take the weight on my elbows. I expect it will be very uncomfortable for the first few weeks when I get back on the road.xray

We had the same idea as the original poster and bought in Ste Foy 11 years ago, We usually ski at Christmas and Easter and have a summer holiday there most years. I am planning to “do a season” next winter before I am too old. It was bought mainly for winter sports but summer has been the revalation with cycling becoming an obsession after taking it up again to gain fitness. Holidays are not the same in your own place as I seem to spend most visits in Weldoms (DIY shop next to Super U) getting bits to maintain the property although saying that its probably the best purchase we have made!

The taxes are a lot higher the further up the mountain you are. I did this 10 years ago.

This is a fair price from a local forwarder for 2m3,

Ex fob to door, we can offer £ 335 lump sum excluding clearance, Duty & VAT.

Your in-laws would be the US supplier, they should be liable for getting the freight to the local receiving depot. The UK clearing agent should be able to deliver to a place of your choosing to avoid your wife’s prying eyes. The size of the package is approx 2m3.

    Try these forwarders,

    http://www.agc.as
    http://www.bronel.com
    http://www.vls-uk.com

Your supplier would have to deliver in to one of their US receiving depots and you would pay the freight and UK clearance charges.

I have both a Weber charcoal kettle for roasts and large gatherings and a Weber Q120 for mid-week bbq’s after work and would not be without both.
