My Bosch motor has failed after 950 miles. Luckily 3 weeks warranty left.

New motor sent by bosch and fitted all within a week of me dropping the bike off at my lbs.

Just on my way to pick the bike up.

Definitely buy from a bike shop that has a good reputation for after sales.

I have a delonghi magnifica. It has a milk container that can detach and be put in the fridge.

Our last 2 cars have been leases. Both been good experiences.

First was direct with a Volvo dealer, Volvo v40 for 4 years with no option to buy after.

The second was direct with a VW dealer, an egolf for 4 years. We opted to buy this after the lease.

If you’re looking at leasing check the mileage allowance as if the price seems good then the mileage is usually 5k per year.

Also new cars seem to be 0% Apr and used are around 9% Apr.

Had they actually seen it had integrated cables though?

No idea, I bought the bike from them and they are a cube dealer. They asked the mechanic how much it would cost and he said £80.

Bike is 2 years old and done 950 miles.

My cube headset bearings have started to feel a bit rough.

Asked local lbs for a cost to change them. £80 which includes bearings. Bearings from merlin are £30 so £50 labour.

I had same problem last year. Borrowed this contraption off a friend as he had the same problem year before.

The specialized discount doesn’t seem to work for butcher tyres.

    Might try the eliminator instead.

My hero 7 black has the hyper smooth stabilisation. Can’t justify upgrading for how much I use it.

I’m sure the newer models will have better stabilisation though.

Can anyone make the Bell Super offer work? I’m not getting anywhere

No they’ve taken the extra £25 offer off. Still a bargain at £65 if you have a big noggin.

Cheap smartphone and Sony wh-1000xm4. They fold up, ideal for taking to the gym and great noise cancelling.

Spotify for music and podcasts. If there’s a few in the family using Spotify might be better to get a Spotify family account.

I was recommended bio oil by my surgeon after having a growth removed from my face.

Was told to massage the oil into the scarring every day.

    It definitely works.

Anyone have the 27.5 version of this bike

Yep bought it 2020. It’s brilliant and as said above, I find I’m taking the P7 out more than the full bouncer.

Finally decided to get the Seiko. Not the exact one I wanted as funds didn’t allow.

The strap is a bit too stiff so will probably swap it out.

    @slackboy

Winter range is around 125 miles, summer can get to 160 – 180.

The cold makes a big difference, the way it’s driven and having the heating on.

On the motorway as long as you don’t thrash it and stay a steady speed say 60-65 then you’ll get the range. On A roads put the regen braking on and you’ll recover some miles.

You should be able to do the 120 mile round trip.

Mine doesn’t have a heat pump fitted so if the one you’re looking at has one then the range will be better.

Worse case scenario is you plug it into a charger for 20 minutes to top it up.

If you’re near Chorley, lancs then you’re welcome to have a look.

I have a 2019 egolf. Had it from new.

No problems whatsoever & battery is at 100%.

Just make sure the range of the car is suitable for your needs.

You can pre order the pixel 8a and get £216 trade in for your Samsung A71 direct from the Google store.

So the pixel 8a would be £283 after trade in.

I use the hope silicon lube that hope recommend.

Dab a bit on each piston with a cotton bud and push back in. Repeat if piston is still sticking.

@kato I think that’s why I’m drawn to the Prospex. I like the larger case with the machined bezel.

I’ve always had a soft spot for a Seiko after lusting for an Arctura and luckily getting one for my 30th.

23 years later and I’m slowly moving from having a smart watch to wanting another Seiko. This thread is to blame as there’s been some stunning watches.

    Anyone got a Seiko Prospex?

Specifically the King Turtle variety. I’m trying to think of a reason not to get one 😬

    Yep, first listing only.

I fell foul of that last year as I was on holiday when the listing ended and it automatically relisted and then sold.

I didn’t realise and got charged a fortune.

I asked eBay to look at it but they (rightly) said it was only for the first listing.

Chucked my toys out the pram and cancelled my eBay account after 20 years using it.

    Don’t miss it one bit.

No one suggested the Decathlon waterproof jacket yet

I tried the decathlon jacket but it didn’t fit right for me, shame as it’s a great price

    Quick update.

After trying on a few jackets at Merlin, Decathlon and Leisure Lakes, I’ve gone for the Endura MT500. The other jackets were either too big or tight.

    £150 at leisure lakes.

Not sure if this is illegal on STW but taking the chance to bump my own thread asking for any comments on the on one jacket

Would be interested to hear of any views on this as well
