You can be veggie and eat crap or eat sensible proportions of good quality meat.

last time i checked, vegetarians didnt eat meat. or are you a vegetarian who eats fish and chicken, because they dont count as meat

3.5lb aluminium hardtail frames probably arent the best thing to be riding downhill tracks and doing jumps on

the DH track is just its name, its not a proper DH track.

+potato for brechfa, but if youre insistent on afan then do W2. takes the best (and worst) from both trails.

the seattube might be a different diameter, needing a new front derailleur. same with seat clamp as the seat tube wall thickness might change.

ive had very similar with my maxle lite equipped sektor. i got some wet and dry sandpaper and sanded down the inside of the adapters untill the maxle fitted. works fine now.

    also grease the shaft

post mount is already spaced for you to run a 160 disk up front, so you dont have to run an adapter like you do with Is mount. go for post mount.

people talk about steel frames like they expect to not feel anything from the back end, like a full sus. blasting down rocky trails flat out is when the dampening effect is most noticeable, but then you have to remember that it is still a hardtail. catches you out sometimes.

all i know is that im well chuffed with my blue pig and will definitely be buying steel again. the extra weight doesn’t build up to too heavy a bike.

damn, i just threw away my mad bull a couple of weeks ago :(. we’re currently moving house so i was trying to get rid of stuff, and i thought it was going to be too old to buy spares for. it was damn good fun and relatively cheap :-)

im not sure about ISIS, but if its any help the octalink on my blue pig has an axle lenth of 118mm.

should be the same as the rear cassette will be in the same place for all QR frames and wheels (someone correct me on that?)

the lucozade gels they sell in the big tescos cost about 60p. usually found next to all the energy drinks.

if you can get rosetta stone its amazing. just like old skater mentioned, it simply starts by building vocab with a bit of grammar thrown in. you do need to dedicate time to it though, and if you choose to buy it, its pretty expensive

my blue pig with a sektor u turn is the best of both worlds. 150mm makes it a slack beast that loves being hammered down rocky trails (also goes well uphill, steep seat tube). crank down the u turn for the uphills and its just silly. if you can turn the pedals, the bike will get up the hill, the rest is down to you.

i havent noticed the weight being a disadvantage either.
