ive got their fixed wheel hubs so cant comment on their freewheels. so far I cant fault them but theyve been given a pretty easy life, fair weather only. fast bearings in them as well.

microdrive for mountain bikes. meaning you can keep 3 small cogs up front and use a roadie cassette out back. that would be my dream setup.

they have no seals at all. in the summer dirt will get in, but theyre cheap enough to just pack em with loads of grease and run them a bit rough, untill they completely die.

just measured mine and they come up around 2.3″ in height and width on an xm719.

might go a bit bigger if i put in a larger inner tube. the one in there at the mo is only for up to 2.15 or something, and takes a while to fill out the tyre.

A bit OT but my understanding of the whole 9/10 speed incompatability is:

The shifters pull the same amount of cable per click (the 10sp having one more) and because of this, and the fact that the 10sp derailleur has to move an extra sproket in the same distance, SRAM have had to change the amount of cable used by the 10sp rear mech for each unit of cable pulled by the shifter (as that cant be changed).

im sure the more expensive ones are better, but im coming up to three years of riding in my shimano mt51 shoes so its not like the cheap ones are painfully bad. try to try a pair on before you shell out for them though.
