hey bigbloke, are you running those nobby nics tubeless, if so are you using a rim strip or straight onto the rim?

Bit of a hijacking, but does anyone know of any singletrack in the woods north of norwich. Is it private land/ forestry commission ? I often ride witton woods when visiting family but would be good to know of other areas.

could be that they’re the cheapo on one version that’s causing the issue. it’s a right pain in the backside that they hold pressure for 4/5 days and then suddenly they’re flat. Doesn’t install much confidence 🙁

about a week ago, after much sweating and puffing i finally managed to inflate my new non ust nobby nics (i had already used a tube inflated for a couple of days 1st) they have been holding air since then, but when i went to ride the bike yesterday i found they had deflated and left a nice little puddle of sealant. why have they suddenly deflated and will this be a common occurance. my previus experinece of ust tyres has been very good, am i going to have lots of issues mounting non ust to 819’s or have i just been unucky?

any tips on make this current setup work!

hugh make sure you use a proper mirror adhesive as the others have said. then make sure the mirror is well supported whilst it sets, use props or a battern at the bottom, tap at the top. oh and good luck 😯

thanks for the replies guys, i’ll be up there mid week managing our contractors on the RSC project. first glance at the os map shows a few bridleways and maybe the odd cheeky (after 8pm :D)bit. i doesn’t look too hilly so i’ll take the singlespeed and have a bit of an explore and drop into the cycle studio for a chat. thanks again
