Chords are super important, i remember wasting months trying to learn ahem… Stairway to Heaven, when what i should have been doing is learning open chords.
The chord changes make your hands work as they should, although it'll seem unfeasable at first, stick with it  it took me a year before i could knock out a tune, but i was 40 :|

I haven't drunk properly for years, i have the very occasional whisky, and i can feel the effects after just this the next day

It took me years of proper drinking to realise i can't handle it and i'm an arse when pissed.

Yes i did it, travelled the world for 6 yrs, but realised the UK was ace and by far the nicest place on the planet for me

I got bored of the travel in the end, airports aren't as glamourous as i dreamt when i was young…

Do it, it'll probably do you in for a few times if it's a 'proper' class, but stick with it and get competitive :P

Just do what feels comfortable :| i raced for a few years and even managed to win a race once with no specific training, just lots of varied riding, like clubber said short efforts make big sense for races.

Remember the pace will up just when you don't want it to and you have to react even if you don't want to or can't so you need to incorporate this into your 'training'.

Chain gangs are great for this

With BCA auctions you can view online with photos, so i'm armed with a list of 10 vans to look at, and they are all HPI checked by the auction house

Got to be a winner

    VAN UPDATE

I bought a van yesterday of a friend of a relative, shook hands and was going to take the money and pick it up today. I got home and thought i'd better HPI check it…

Turns out from the mileage report it had done 160k not 60k that the owner thought. it had been round the clock. I genuinely think the guy didn't know, he was gutted he'd been ripped off too.

    Just goes to show.

    I'm still looking :|

The ferry crossing is lovely to the South, try to get to Okarito not many get there its pop approx 5.

Paradise is also isolated and blissful just outside Queenstown, i drove there in a '73 Honda Civic, i really needed a 4×4.

Oamaru is pleasent, i lived there for 6mths, Dunedin is rough and ready but fun, they love the rugby.

MTFU and split up, you sound like you need to be told right.

I've been there done that, like most blokes on here, i'm now married to my amazing wife, i didn't think women like her existed till i met her.

Marrige and love should feel easy with the right partner, not stressful.

I did it after i rolled off her after making love on a weekend away, i then produced a ring from the bedside drawer and it fitted perfect 8)

I was super smug that day, i borrowed one of her old ring for size 2 weeks before.
