@councilof10. Your arrows look great. Am considering getting a jig and having a go at fletching my own arrows. Always thought it was a bit of a dark art but YouTube tells a different story. Shame about the bow. I’m sure your new one will be a whole lot better

Well that will teach me to not check the bow you had before posting. I really liked the guys at the longbow shop. Very pleasant experience. Must be a horrible feeling when you hear your bow crack like that. I am still in the process of deciding which arrows to order. The wife has told me I can’t order any till I have somewhere to shoot. #underthethumb. Lol

@councilof10. If you haven’t already then check out the Ragim range at merlinarchery.co.uk good looking bows around your price range. A longer bow would be better for you if you have a long draw length. I would recommend the timbercreek bows but they have non in stock around your price range and draw weight. The Ragim mountain lion looks a very nice bow at 62inch long. Like the 80 yard to flat target.

@councilof10. It is mate. Really nice to shoot. I am ordering some carbon arrows as the wooden ones from timbercreek are not the same quality as the bow. I got the zebrano limited edition as I liked the natural wooden finish. Will try and post a pic. I have some paper zombie targets I could bring along. Lol

@councilof10. Where are you based, I would love to have ago around your field course. looks great from the pics. I have recently purchased a timber creek cottonmouth Trad bow from Merlin archery. Our local gun club(Leigh) had an area for archery in an old mill but they have recently extended the shooting range at a cost of the archery section so not really worth it anymore. Have been looking for somewhere to continue shooting

    :deepreddave: No offence (to flibrose).

Non taken. Each to their own. A watch for every occasion is what I think. But then again I only have one bike and it still has 26inch wheels so what the hell do I know.lol

Torgoen T18. Bought recently after having other watches stolen in burglary. Online only sales. Very quick service. Does incur import duty though. Way below your budget. There tactical watch looks quite good as well

I do the resin bound driveways as a side business from my main job as an industrial floor layer. Printed concrete would require removal of the tarmac as would the block paving option. Resin bonded would shed lots of aggregate and you would carry this into your house on shoes etc. Resin bound meets all SUDS regulations and can be applied over your existing tarmac drive once it is dry and free from weeds and algae. Many colours to choose from. You must ensure the contractor uses a Polyurethane Aliphatic UV stable resin if you don’t want the colour to change over time. Epoxy resin is not suitable outside as this discolours and cracks overtime as it is not UV stable. Prices can range from £45-£85 per square metre depending on size of job and location within UK. Hope this helps

Bike finally built ready for christmas ride. Needed some help fitting chain device and front mech from guys at north west mountain bike (even they had a nightmare setting it up) but everything else was fairly straight forward. I can’t wait to get on it. Definitely looks better with black wheels than the red ones.

I got the frame from mtb shropshire and I am building it with the parts from my 06 enduro. Still not sure about the red wheels but I have black as well so I will try both. Will take my time building it but will post a pic when done. Somewhere with a neutral background this time though!!!!!

Back in black. AC/DC. It is wrong to hear the tracks out of sequence. it has to be listened to in order. I start to sing the next song as the previous one finishes

I am in the process of trying to change mine. Problem I have is the crankset axle has a collar attached on the non drive side which is stopping me removing the drive side bottom bracket from the crank. I have searched the web but am finding no answers. Did intend putting a picture up here today at some point to see if any of you guys could help. The hollow tech tool does work by the way.

Thanks for that oliverd1981. We did the passporte in 2010 but I could not remember how long that section took. I hope we can find the switchback descent into lindarett we did then. That was excellent. Thanks again

We are staying in Morzine this year. With the Pleney lift being closed we were thinking of heading over to the chatel bike park. Can I ask how long the ride is (using the lifts) from morzine to chatel? The bike park looks great

You could remove about 5 inch of the gravel and replace with concrete. You would be looking at approximately 4 cubic metres of concrete which would cost anywhere from £125 – £180 per cubic metre depending on the strength of concrete you order. The remaining 3 inch of gravel could be used as hardcore. If you ordered the concrete from someone like Barrowmix they would barrow the concrete into the area for you if you felt like laying the drive yourself. This comes as part of the price from this type of company

Enter the passporte. Stay for a week anywhere in morzine or les gets if its your first time, just for the atmosphere if nothing else. Drive so you can take your bike and loads of extra kit. Take as many mates as possible and have a blast. I went two years ago and maybe going back next year with any luck. Enjoy. We stayed at The Lodge, Morzine
