sent my monster dogs back a week ago after almost a year of use due to the laquer bubbling up and got a brand new set back, they had prescription lenses in too and when they came back i had a new set of lenses, completely scratch free.

brilliant in a fast show way

why don’t you buy the fence panel (about 20-30 quid) and he installs it on his “day off”.

that way your not the bad guy, he isn’t out of pocket then and has no arguments.

trekmates was narrow and cost about 12 quid if i remember, i got a hunka from alpkit at the outdoors show for a tenner two weeks ago(slight second) but thats quite narrow too compared to my army surplus one. trekmate was lightest on test but that was partly due to lack of material i.e. narrowness.

    hope this helps

do they put the times up of all the riders on their website?
a couple of people i’ve spoken to have un-feasibly quick times or do i just have to beleive them?

I was slightly miffed by the last part of the final descent too. It means I’ve got the wifes bike to wash as well as my own.

don’t get me wrong smee, i’d love to see a chair lift built in the tweed valley but i can see two senarios, it’ll take years in the planning and never go ahead due to build costs or council planning t0ssers or it’ll be built but go WAY over budget and will be cost prohibitive that very few people will use it.

as tj says the chance of a chairlift being built is slim to none.(this is britain after all)

secondly have you been to whistler for riding a bike and riding a board? if you have you’ll know what i mean.

have the bob revolution double which is brill.
    and the single.

the only way i would say that the tandem phil and ted beats it is that the kids sit in-line where the kids are side by side in a bob otherwise the bob wee’s all over the p&t.

save trapsing all the way to aviemore, about 8 hours less driving round trip.

i might try putting something together, route wise, where “fellow riders not competitors” have to start in north wales finishing in south wales going via checkpoints to get a pass code which have to be given in at the end to prove you rode it all.

    invitational only you understand.

you’d have to make it for fattys/numptys only otherwise the likes of nick craig would have it done in an afternoon.

i used to get them calling weekly saying i’d agreed to sponsor a calendar 8 months ago and i had to pay up now before going to print, and if i didn’t pay now they’d be handing it to their debt collectors blah, blah, blah.

whenever i asked them to send me a copy of the agreement with my signature on for the proof of the artwork they stopped calling me, funny that!

tell them all to go away in a rude and agressive attitude.
