Broke my knee the first weekend in October, it was 26 days till i could do a full pedal stroke again but I had to wait until Christmas day until my first proper ride in the mendips. So approx 2.5 month for a broken knee.

i've seen somewhere recently whereby you put in a GR and it'll give you a postcode for the area. can't remember where but i'll let you know if i remember which site it's on.
it wasn't very good so don't hold your breath.

i can see the fun in riding through a river that deep in the middle of summer but not in fridgid waters in december. is it a competition to see if you can find your willy after immersing it in freezing streams/flood waters?
thats what i don't see the point of.

should be a phone number on the machine, if you call it and explain the machines aren't working and give them your reg #, they will give you a code to display in your windscreen. hey presto, no ticket.

bit late now i would suspect

we went for the cosi tobi maxi(non isofix). two in each car(4 in total)
as said above it might not fit in grandma's car or the hire car you use abroad.
seatbelt fitted seats are universal, isofix aint.

if your hiring straight from the airport consider getting a cab to just outside the airport where we found a few hire firms(the same companies that are based in the airport),their depots are based here and a whole lot cheaper than the airport desk.
you'll just have to check if there is an office in whistler though as we used enterprise but they don't have an office in whistler so we had to have it for the week.

from the airport, getting through the city and the drive to whistler(stopping to grab a coffee from squamish etc) will take 2.5-3 hours.

there is a train upto whistler, you could try that.

after a heavy night out in bristol i was picked up at 8am by a team mate to go and play football in cardiff for a 10am kick off, after collecting somebody else and vomiting on their doorstep right in front of his wife who i've never met, we set off for taffland. on arrival i was rather green to say the least but found a maccy d's at the entrance to cardiff uni where i promptly devoured two cheese burgers, large fries and a milkshake, mmmmmmmm.

at the end of 90 minute's i was voted man of the match.

    all hail macdonalds
