right in the middle of town,

parking in trenchard street car park right behind, bloody expensive though. if you go up to st michaels hill one more street up its free to park after 6pm iirc.

secure parking in bristol, doubt it.

    acoustics are pants.

can't say i've seen any rock there so not sure.

    whos playing?

recently bought an oregan 450 over the dakota as i thought the screen was lacking resolution against the oregan, got the mapping bundle after first resisting it but have to say i'm loving it now. didnt test drive the others so can't comment on them.

Just think of the weight saving next year. No pen…..

i told you you'd spend a whole year geeking out on ultralight weight kit!

it'll be reet, don't stress about it too much, you'll just be lighter next year.

Will be taking my normal Endura Waterproof and cycle spares, haven't included them in the above as I would be carrying them anyway.

well if your not counting tools and spares, I'M ULTRALIGHT!!!!
get in there my son. :D

i wish my crocs weren't radio active orange!!

i doubt anybody cares what colour they are. you'll be able to see them float down stream on a river crossing.

now i'm down to the 12lb mark but this could become a tad lighter if the weather plays ball.
    oooooo the excitement!

i reckon i can sneak below the ultralight limit though.

think I was being too optimistic with my gear. Got 4 pounds to lose before I can join the ultralight club.

if your going the epic route i'd really reccommend the quality of eric's work.
the wait is agonising but well worth it.

    From BBC website

The US state department says there "will definitely be consequences" for North Korea following the sinking of a South Korean warship in March.

The North is facing international condemnation after investigators blamed it for the sinking of the ship, in which 46 sailors died.

Pyongyang has rejected the claim as a "fabrication" and threatened war if sanctions were imposed.

can some people not see why we would need trident?

I reckon what's in my pockets would take me over the superultralight limit.

so it was you that won £84 million quid at the weekend?

    flatfish

i'm fully expecting shaggy to step up to the plate for the title of superultralight, however looking at the forecast for next weekend my kit will be around another 400g lighter if the met office are to be believed.
i reckon i can sneak below the ultralight limit though.

i think your thinking of anglers retreat, as our route last year went nowhere near teifi pools, unless you were hopelessly lost. 8O

And my frame bag has been delayed and will not be ready until next weekend now.

if it's coming from eric i would expect least another fortnight due to customs and the lazy gits at parcelforce.

well that went a bit tits up today, set off for 100 mile ride, within 1 mile a bloody big rhodesian ridgeback has taken a chomp jump below my knee.
no idea when my last tetnus was so of to have a jab in the morning.
told the wife i've got rabies now but shes not that sympathetic, cow.

jandd frame bag which i found a lot cheaper online from utah(shop rans) than from jandd themselves and the seat pack is from Epic designs in alaska, not cheap.

aircraft need a base which would be the first target to be hit in the event of a nuclear strike on us, whereas a sub with trident can be anywhere in the many oceans around the world and only the sub commander knows where exactly it is so all our potential enemies are in the dark until after they've pressed their button.
i'm not for using it as a pre-emptive strike or anything like that, but more as the deterent that we use it for nowadays.
i don't think were silly at all with the likes of iran and north korea playing silly buggers at the moment.
